It's been a while since I did one of these posts :)
I woke up early today (yes on Sunday morning) to go to a workshop about Media in Tunis.
The roads were empty, public transport was empty, which s something that only happens on Sunday mornings when only people with passions would be outside, following their passion.
Most of the people weren't trying to hide their passion, some of them had a musical instrument or two, others were wearing sportswear, others had cameras... When the rest of the world was asleep, these had something to wake up early for.
I remembered the days when I used to play Karaté. Karaté championships were always on Sunday mornings and I used to wake up even earlier than I did today, to travel to when I had to play. I kind of miss those days.
Or the million times when I woke up early on Sundays to go for a trip and a hike, or when I woke up early because I wasn't having a comfortable sleepy night, talking about campings here. Those I still do every once in a while.
This time I had my laptop and I was going to a workshop with some strangers. It turned out they weren't all strangers. I met Ashraf, one of my old best friends, there by chance and we left together. The workshop was kind of disappointing but what happened next made up for everything.
We went to my friends home, where I met his Swiss Shepherd "Sam".
Hey there Sam son dog of Ashraf lol
Then we called another old friend and we went to a coffee shop to wait for him.
"Can you play chess?" Ashraf asked with a challenging tone.
"Yes, Can you?" I answered with a mocking one.
He gave me a mocking laughter.
During our four chess games, I had to ask him "Are you sure you can play chess?" over ten times every round... Because...
Checkmate! Checkmate! Checkmate!
Then our friend Ilyes came so Ashraf decided to step aside and let him try.
Again I won!
That's when the game got boring for me and I stepped aside to let them play a relevant challenging game. Guess what.. Ashraf won! Yes the one who lost four times in a row against me.

What a Sunday, the workshop might not have reached expectations but you got to meet a handsome dog and win at chess ! Sounds like a #SublimeSunday to me
