2019 in 12 Photos
What are your best photos from 2019? Here is my favourite photo from each month of 2019
January:
It was a trip to a park to teach my wife how to use an proper camera - I saw these girls standing on a hill and quickly snapped the shot.
February:
Street photography with prime lens and neon signs always works
March:
It's even better with big backlight lightboxes
April:
I'd heard about this redwood forest, which is unusual for Australia so off I went camera in hand, I wasn't the only photographer there, this ballerina was walking to a shoot.
May:
I don't often do self portraits but I was home sick from work and bored, so out came the 50mm for some play.
June:
June bought a trip to Kenya and Tanzania so many photos to choose from, this one I love, the sky, the sheer scale of the huge elephant family.
July:
I was struggling to get back into work after the holiday and had left early, I found this shot on the way home, gorgeous winter light.
August:
Another street photography shot, the red awning working for me.
September:
So few good shots taken, this architectural one kind of works
October:
Another one I got after leaving work early (I'm starting to think work gets in the way on my photography habit)
November:
A beach holiday to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland bought with it this classic beach scene.
December:
Kind of apt that the last shot is a sunset - I hope your photography adventures were as fulfilling as mine.
Nice shots :)
Thanks

These are absolutely stunning, and I really love the idea of taking a snapshot from each month. I wonder if I can convince myself to do something similar... shoot or draw one small thing a day or something, so I can choose one from each month at the end of the year..... In YOUR case, you ended up with a beautiful summary of you photographic journey. In MY case, it would likely be a display of how drawing can improve from terrible to recognizable in 366 days or something (it’s a leap year).
Anyhoo, love it. Cheers

Yea, it can be encouraging to look back.
Also, thanks for 'telling' me about Partiko ^_^
I didn't know they had referral links until like an hour ago though... I wonder if there is a way for me to retrospectively credit you so that you get points....
