Human Right Commission infiltrates the Australian Defence Force


In Australia, the Human Rights commission, headed by Gillian Triggs has become a tool for left wing populist agendas. In previous years, the Human Rights commission was rarely called upon to investigate incidents, but under Professor Triggs leadership the instances of Human Rights Commission investigation has skyrocketed. In many of these investigations, which can take years to be processed, the matters have found to be frivolous and very rarely pass the Pub Test.

But listening today to Alan Jones on the radio, I'm informed that a branch of the Human Rights Commission has infiltrated the Australian Defence Force. The infiltrator this time is the Sex Discrimination Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission, Ms Kate Jenkins.

This crowd is pushing for equality within the ADF, introducing quotas for females in positions and dispensing of the long held beliefs of "Best person for the job"


Now I have absolutely nothing against women in the military, I think its brilliant. But there are certain roles that are designed only for men. Case in point is the Australian SAS and 3RAR the Commando's. This is not to say that women can't do the job, I know of plenty of bad ass women that would kick ass in those roles. But the reason that they are not, is because its a matter of conscious for the military. These guys are put in the WORST and most dangerous positions on the earth. When they are captured, they are beaten and tortured. If a woman was to be one of these elite, the punishments that she would endure would be many multiples worse. This is why women are excluded from special forces roles.

But that is not what this Kate Jenkins is fighting for, she is saying that we must have more women pilots, more women engineers, more women in general. So now the Australian Defense Force have adopted a system of quota's for these positions. This means that males that are much more suited and qualified for the roles are being passed over in favour of a female who is less suited, solely because she is a female. This is down right discrimination.

To give a job to any person, in any role in any company, solely because of their gender and overlook their skills and abilities is SEXUAL DISCRIMINATION!!! So the Sex Discrimination Commissioner is in effect promoting sex discrimination to men because it suits her agenda.

This is downright wrong and needs to stop, the sooner the Australian Human Rights Commission is disbanded the better.

Mate this comes up in the IT industry all the time.

What happened to best person for the job. While I obviously approve of initiatives to educate more women on some of these jobs - that is only in so far as widening the potential employment pool.

But as a woman I would be mortified if I got a job simply because I was a woman and not based on my skills and being best suited. And you are 100% right, it is discriminatory against men.

Unfortunately I've been on diversity councils where they only focus on gender diversity (which in most companies means a female quota) I get absolutely shunted by the other women for my views that it is best person regardless of gender.

In IT at least (because that's my experience) - we should be looking at why women may not want to be applying for the roles in the first place and fixing that. Not setting quotas that discriminate against men.

But I seem to be in the minority of women in those thoughts and apparently I am setting back the womens movement by decades lol!

If I had a daughter I would want her to feel the pride of getting a job because she was the best person for it.

you're 100% correct, there is no pride in getting a job just because your a woman. If you're not talented enough to get it on your own, you shouldn't have it.
My wifes doing an assignment at this moment on Diversity, and it basically tells them that others (aboriginals) aren't good enough and that they have to be treated special. Now this is complete horse shit, if they can't do the job then they don't get it. It also points to gays as well, saying you have to treat them different.
Fuck that!! if you're no good at your job, you loose it, no matter what or who you are.
Its PC gone mad.

I'm thoroughly for men/women/whatever gender people want to call themselves in whatever job including "non-traditional gender roles". Thoroughly against quotas. Idea just seems dumb to me but what do I know oO

I just didn't say it properly.
Feminism for example says they need a female employee quota to get the number of women in a certain higher as women are discriminated against. But in doing so it flips it to just discriminating men.
But 100% correct, either way it's wrong and
