So Much Love for Myself and Steemit.

Good evening dear Steemians and welcome to my blog...

I just want to take this time to appreciate myself and also steemit...

I remember few years ago where my whole life was just one series of sad stories...
You know, I used to be a happy child, with a wonderful childhood. I was one of those kids that parents used as examples to their kids. I had a good upbringing, with so much love from my parents, my parents were always proud of me and I always tried not to disappoint them.
Though as a child, I grew up in a mixed environment where you see the good and bad. Yes, I knew good and bad at an early age, but I somehow I overcame most of the bad.

Growing up became a bit tough much later, it even got worse when my sweet mother was snatched away by the cold hands of death. It was a sad experience, as traumatic.
I was just 17, seeking to get admitted into the university, just when I thought I was about to start life as a young girl, I lost my mum who had being struggling to live. This gave me a different view of life, my whole mindset of having to live as a young changed automatically. I had no option but to accept my fate to act the mother role, now the whole family was looking up to me.

Being responsible became part of me, I had to woman up.
I got admitted and successfully graduated from the University, though it wasn't easy one.

As a girl I had dreams and also had friends, because I love meeting people.

You know this thing they say that friends Make or Mar you, to an extent is true as some friends tend to be distractions to your many dreams and targeted goals. Though, their acts may not come deliberately but some too are..

I learned how to balance life, I realised that though I needed friends, there were some things that were priorities and needed more attention to before others.

Then came the mindset of hustling over fun..
I was born differently from others and so I had to find out what makes me different. imageSource.

Realising I was raised for greatness was enough motivation, I pictured who I really want to be and started acting as such. I gave no time for unnecessary things, only things and people that attracts success became important to me.
I soon had a different approach to fun and friends, having time for everything.

Since I know what I wanted in my life, I decided to live my own life to my own discretion. I do things to improve my knowledge in my area of life, looking out for possible opportunities to a better and successful life.
I looked out for ways of life of good mentors rather than following friends. People's things and way never freaks me anymore, for they are entitled to their own way and type of life.

My dream kind of life
One of my dreams had always being to be free and be happy while earning a good name with impact and also a medium to talk and encourage those who don't see good in their life.
This made me in search of skills and opportunities..

Wow!!!, I found steemit...
Thanks to steemit, I am beginning to behold my dreams, dreams of being great...
Dreams of projecting my skills and God given talent...
Dreams of meeting people...
Dreams of knowing places..
Dream of speaking and impacting lives with my life experiences.
Doing this without fear of expression...

Am using this medium to encourage someone out there to see kife from a different angle, who don't have to live a life of another person or live your life for somebody. Focus on what you want for your self, look for what you need to achieve success.
Do not be carried away by what you see in or about another person for you do not know their means and even if you do, it just may not work in your favour.
Just be you, look out for better means of improving yourself and have a stand in life.

Thanks to steemit, I am being and doing me, it's just being about what I love, showing it and looking for more creative means of expressing it...

Am just so loving myself....

Thanks @leeart, I am so glad you took out time to go through my post.
About communities, I've been doing that but am yet to get one to participate actively in...
I'll be glad if you suggest one..

@newbieresteemday helped me a lot when I was starting here. I get to meet great people like beeyou, davemccoy, lynnecoyle1. On that note, you can also check out @greetersguild.
@pifc is another where you get to feature people who you think deserves more attention.
I'm not much of a writer but there are communities about that too.
