If I ruled the world
I'd probably fuck everything up in one day
Maybe a week or two, or maybe we'd last a month
I would be idealistic, and opinionated, but probably absolutely useless
If I ruled the world
There'd be anarchy
I'd be well meaning, but most definitely ineffective
The hot air I expel would suffocate millions, and you would hate my stinking guts
If I ruled the world
You wouldn't be better off
You wouldn't be happy
You wouldn't be free
Or...perhaps you'd be no worse off than you are right now
If I ruled the world.

definitely, definitely not sarcasm! It's so honest, and a brutal criticism of power. And I'm reading on a small tablet, so I can't even begin to comment on how well the artwork supports the text. ["text", not "poem", because the whole post is the poem. ]
I'm just being overwhelmed by your "Why I pledged .." post. It will take some reading, and re-reading.
Wonderful is inadequate... I guess a poem in response is the only way, but that will take time. I'm now off to work through your other posts.
