Arte del Día // Happy Belated Women's Day ♥ Mes de la Mujer ♥
Finalmente puedo compartirles ésta ilustración que hice para el Dia de la Mujer y que no pude subir a tiempo gracias al apagón nacional. Como algunos de ustedes sabrán, hace ya una semana que hubo una falla eléctrica que dejó a Venezuela entera sin electricidad por más de cinco dias. No quiero profundizar más en el tema para no amargar este post, supongo que ya ustedes saben las graves consecuencias que conlleva pasar más de 80 horas sin luz en un pais entero, incluyendo hospitales.
- ♥ I can finally share this illustration that I made for Women's Day with you. I wasn't able to post it in time thanks to the national blackout. As some of you may know, a week ago there was an electrical failure that left Venezuela in complete darkness for more than five days. I do not want to delve further into the subject because I want this post to be happy, I'd imagine you already know the serious consequences of a national blackout.
Ésta ilustración es parte de un proyecto llamado "Woman Says" al que fui invitada a participar junto a varias ilustradoras súper talentosas de otros países y que pueden mirar completo aquí. "Woman Says" reúne diseñadoras e ilustradoras latino americanas para diseñar un mensaje de resistencia y coraje para todas las mujeres del mundo, sin importar dónde vivan, su edad, religión o cualquier otro factor.
- ♥ This illustration is part of a project called "Woman Says" to which I was invited to participate in, along with several super talented illustrators from other countries. You can see the full project here. "Woman Says" brings together Latin American designers and illustrators to design a message of resistance and courage for women all around the world, no matter where they live, their age, religion or any other factor.
