Arty Farty Irn Brew

A friend visiting at the weekend asked John (who's Scottish) if he'd ever tried Irn Brew (pronouned Iron Brew). That's a bit like asking him if he's every tried whisky. 😂

Our friend had recently been reading a series of novels where one of the main characters seems to drink quite a lot of it, hence the question.

Well it just so happens that our son also likes Irn Brew and we happened to have a bottle in the house.

Never one for missing a photo opportunity I set to and took some shots.

Irn-Bru is a Scottish carbonated soft drink, often described as "Scotland's other national drink" (after whisky). It is produced in Westfield, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, by A.G. Barr of Glasgow.

In addition to being sold throughout the United Kingdom, Barr's Irn-Bru is available throughout the world and can usually be purchased where there is a significant community of people from Scotland.

Looking Into The Bottom Of Irn Brew's Soul

Please don't ask me what it tastes like as it impossible to describe and tastes like nothing else. It would be like trying to describe cola to someone who'd never tasted anything like it.

My friend liked it. I don't. But then I'm not a big fan of carbonated drinks in general anyway. 😁
