Look at those cute eyes👀 | Louis🐶

•It was casual day of autumn, 2013. I was going to a mall with my friend and as we were walking into the mall, I saw a woman not far from the entrance holding something adorable.
We moved closer and realized she was holding 2 small puppies. Those were the cutest little snouts that I've ever seen, with their lost and confused puppy eyes.
The brown one was a girl and a yellowish one, a boy.
We approached a woman and talked to her while holding and petting puppies.

•After that we went to meet my friend's boyfriend and sat at the bar to have a drink. But all I kept thinking of was those cute little paws and faces. I've always wanted a female dog, ever since I was little. But I was never allowed to have any animals except for goldfish. Bringing a dog home was always in my mind but I never went from words to action. I knew that my parents would've killed me.
But this time was different, I was determined to go and get that brown female puppy after our drinks.

How could someone leave such a sweet, innocent and helpless creature out on the streets? The lady said she found 5 puppies and she was trying to find a home for all of them. Only two dogs were left and I was sure that I want to adopt the brown one, but then the lady said something that immediately made me change my mind. She said that the yellow dog will probably be left without a home because no one wants him since he doesn't have a tail.😢

•You can only imagine my hearth break after hearing that. As we were walking home with my new little puppy in my hands, I started to worry about the situation at home; What will my parents say? Will they kick me out? My parents are pretty strict and they always said if I bring any animals home, they will kick me and the animal out. 😱

•First day went awful, everyone hated me and the dog. My dad even left the house for a couple of days. But the second day was already better, much better than better actually. I woke up the next morning to a house full of dog toys, a bed for a dog, everything looked like my little puppy was here for years.

•After a few days my dad was supposed to come back home, and as he was leaving the house days before he said he doesn't wanna see the dog when he comes back. He had one big surprise coming.😄 Louis soon became everyone's best friend.

Today, Louis is 4 years old, he is very well taken care of. I would say he is a spoiled dog, because no one can stay mad at that irresistibly cute face.He has good spirit and a great heart, you can tell from his eyes, he is very thankful. He likes long walks in the nature, and running after the pigeons in the city. He likes to run and play with tennis ball, but is not allowed right now, because he needs a surgery on both of his legs. I hope to save money for at least one leg so he can have a surgery this year.

I am so thankful for the day I welcomed Louis into our home and our hearts. He is a beautiful, energetic soul who would never do any harm, only good. He is a part of the family and a real human's best friend. Even tho he is already 4 years old, way too heavy to carry and is sometimes very annoying;To me, he will always be my little puppy.😄
