Super Duper Steemfest2 Photo Dump
A photo dump for the ages.
Join me as I narrate (what I can remember at least, open bars take their toll!) my journey through Steemfest2 from back in November 2017.

It was at the Hackathon (located in the LXFACTORY) where I first met Eric - @anomadsoul. Awesome dude! He hitchhiked for 3 days to Steemfest with @martibis (who is sitting down on the left). I found the first video post of that journey.

I took some time away from the talks to go check out the sites nearby. This tower was right across the street.
Just the plaza of the tower. @acromott and @karensuestudios did a little acrobatic act there for the tourists and I took photos for them. He laid down and balanced her with his feet and Karen would twirl around - incredible!
They recieved a huge applause from the crowd. :D
This art was next to the tower. You could purchase a lock and tag to attach to the LOVE. There is Karen the acrobat again :D (We walked to the tower together with @timsaid.

The awesome 'Estufa Fria de Lisboa' - an enclosed botanical garden of eden. Most of us likened it to Jurassic Park.
We had to walk through to the other side to get to the dinner venue, half expecting Raptors to jump out at us. ;P @gringalicious is taking some pics on the left.

The Steem artfest exhibition layed out. You were able to take one back with you. I loved @jeffjagoe's photograph and then someone told me he was here at Steemfest2! Well, I had to go find him and get him to autograph the photo for me.

Wow, what an experience! I am certainly going to be at Steemfest3 and I think anyone that attended the conference feels the same way. If you haven't been, start reserving some money and time to go - it is WELL worth it.

Good times, my bro. Was an absolute blast out there (especially the night we took a cab for a late night bite to eat). Great memories and hopefully many more to come.

Cheers for the revisit to Portugal last November, it seems so long ago already.
I'll certainly be trying to make the next Steemfest. Have you heard any rumors of where it could be held?

Oh, no idea where! Still a bit early I think but if I had to guess I would say maybe somewhere nice but cheap in Asia (Thailand, Philippines). I would say USA, but the strict Visa policies wouldn't let many Steemians in.

wauhhhh.....i can't believe that you know all these people. I actually read their posts and follow them. starting from @exile, @ned and others. I'm really surprised that you got to know some of these steemit superstars.
I wish the next steemfest be in Uganda or Rwanda so as i participate also.
I personaly did also find many friends from uganda on steemit and they are now part of my family. we actually did our first steemit meet up and we took some times knowing, interacting and laughing with each other.
It's so good you're meeting up with all the Steemians around you!
Keep on doing so well with your posts and DTube videos and you will have more than enough money to fly out to the next 'fest :)

Hey, there you are man! I figured that in these crypto down times we all needed a bit of nostalgia to liven the mood.
actually ... crypto price now is about the same during SF2 . I think steem was only $1.6 then =D
I was thinking that as I was making this post - when Steemfest happened we hadn't had much of the rise yet.
If only I used fiat to pay for my Steemfest ticket and then bought a bunch of Steem with the SBD when it popped but Steem stayed low for a couple days.

Its really good to know that this community is growing a lot. I've never seen people get interacted with other social networks such as facebook or twitter. But steemit is different though... I wish i could attend steem fest someday, Well i'm new here let's see what happens more. Looking forward for great adventure on steemit.
