Helpie weekly curation report. 7/7/2019 to 13/7/2019.
This is the first of my weekly reports as a Baker of the @helpie project.I will try to be consistent and make a report every Sunday presenting some of the posts that received the delicious cakes along with the support of the community. Being an artist myself the pool of my knowledge is about art and so what i am doing on a daily basis is to find new talented artists and give them a sweet extra boost.
Helpie is a community of people focusing on providing help and support. Communities are the strongest feature of Steem and bring the real value. Every user who wants to be active and enjoy the blockchain experience should join one, there are a lot and are covering a variety of themes. So about Helpie, as i said above the keyword is help but also having fun, chatting with interesting people, taking part in contests and last but not least have a place that can help you understand what is going in this complicated cryptoworld.If you feel that you would like to get involved in the project and be a helpienaut (really cool title,lol) you should contact Serena @paintingangels. A pencil drawing by a talented young artist inspired by the famous painting of Titian. This is the kind of art i really admire and envy a bit. Using just a pencil and great skill the artist created a perfect detailed study. A well presented post with process photographs and a few words about the inspiration and idea behind the creation. I baked a nice chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, a fitting desert for Venus.
A colourful painting full of motion from a new artist at Steem blockchain. I like the rough brush strokes and the fierce expression of the Baboon. It looks as if he is screaming and the whole jungle is shaking. Who knows why he is angry, maybe his football team lost or Mrs Baboon went out shopping and is getting late. To calm his nerves i baked a banana cake filled with cream, it is his favourite.
Another talented new artist making his first steps at Steem community. In this post we can see an amazing digital mane of hair created with a set of programs i know nothing about. Still i admire the result and i find a lot of value in this post because it can be useful for other digital artists as a guide and source of information. I was inspired by the colour and pattern of the hair and baked a chocolate and chestnut multi layered cake.

I do have a discord account- I just haven't used it other than to do a complete profile post in Ntopaz (not sure if anyone saw it or anything) - keeping up with the comments / replies here (steemit) has been taking up plenty of time, so I haven't done much in discord.
It will be good for you to start using discord, a lot of discussions take part then and there a lot of communities you could join in the future if you like 🙂

Hi George, it is good to know that you joined this curation team, that spread the tasty cakes around for good posts and manually curate the good quality posts. This is something that you are very good in and it is nice to know that you want to do regular posts for Helpie on Sundays.
Spreading cakes and love is a role i could not resist,lol. I like writing for artists, i neglected a bit my own art but it is ok because i really enjoy it:)
You are very good in supporting others, but we live inreal live so please do not neglect yourself and take time for your Art and your posts. It is often once people on their feet they are just like birds fly away and you do not hear anything from them. Only good friends they stay and there are not many of them :)
Thats very true Stef, but i choose my friends very carefuly:) To support can be a way of developing yourself and also keep in mind that in this way we are trying to raise the value of the community and steem.
About my art, last year i created almost 150 new artworks... i think this is the reason i avoid doing art this year,lol
That is a great number, I can imagine that you need to slow down and just to enjoy, when we work hard there is sometimes a time when there is no mood to do anything. I believe our mind need time for recuperation, also knowing that you may allow yourself that break is something satisfying too :)
