Bitconnect. Legit or a scam?

While I generally have had the majority of my investments in Facebook, Apple, and other stocks. Crypto currencies have always had my attention, but I have never really l looked into it until recently. I have looked into Cloud Mining and in doing so I stumbled upon Bitconnect.

Let me start by saying that one should never invest money unless they are prepared to lose it all. That is the same mentality that I use whenever I gamble on slot machines, card games, etc. Again, never invest money that you are not prepared to lose.

I have been in Bitconnect for just over a week and from the image above. You can see that I have been paid out daily interests and reinvested that money. To be honest, I do not know if Bitconnect is a scam or if it is legit. I have seen enough Youtube videos of people mentioning they have made $20k, $30k, or $50k plus, but sometimes they never mention that 90% of that is from their referrals. Can these videos be misleading? Definitely. Does Bitconnect do what they are saying they will do? Yes, at least as far as I have seen so far. Only time will tell once I am able to get my first capital release.

Their business is flat out genius if you ask me. They ask us to borrow our money in their own currency. Then they turn around and trade it for Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitconnect Coin (BCC). When I first got in on 10/22, BTC was worth $6k and BCC was $204. In the middle of the week BTC dropped to $5.5k and BCC dropped to I believe $195 or $200. Their bot could be making huge gains with the volatile market in the Bitcoin currency. As of right now, BTC is $6.4k and BCC is $239. The part where we can lose out is that we receive our capital release in USD while BTC and BCC could have jumped quite a bit. The image below coincides with the dips and gains that BTC has had over the last week.

I plan on reinvesting my daily interest until I hit a certain amount invested. I am not sure where I will stop yet, but at that point I would take out money until I have recovered my investment.

Are you in Bitconnect or something similar? What strategies are you taking with your investment? Of course, I could lose my entire investment if the website goes belly up. I also could have lost half of my investment into Facebook when it went public.
