Live action: Freestyling - Where doing nothing means something

We were busy doing nothing much today in line with our freestyling ethos for the next several days. I know, doesn't sound like we've been all that busy but sometimes doing nothing can actually mean something...And, nothing, (that is something), is exactly what my wife and I were doing today! Savvy?

Shopping at the market for freestyling supplies immediately followed a late wake up of 9am this morning...And a pretty good breakfast at a local café. We had every intention of getting to the market early before the 40°C+ heat kicked in for the day but alas, the sleep-in seemed more important. On returning home we decided to freestyle some more and start planning our trip to Tasmania in March 2020.

We've had the flights booked for a few weeks now and today managed to get the hire car booked, a Ferrari 458 Spider on this trip, [not really] plus the accommodation over the two locations we will base ourselves. We also managed to lock down a few things we want to do like another trip to Port Arthur, cruise on the Gordon River, Rail journey through the ancient forests near Strahan on the west coast and a visit to Bruny Island and a cruise off the coast from there. It was a productive afternoon of doing nothing, that's for certain!

We have lot's more to work out of course but there's plenty of freestyling time to do so, plus we'll be freestyling in Tasmania as well - Our trips always include freestyling time.

I've been looking at my Lego Mack Anthem on my lego workbench (home office desk) as well...Must get started on that; It might get started tomorrow but right now we're about to sit down and watch The Shannara Chronicles on Netflix. I read the books as a younger man and whilst they cancelled the show after two seasons I figured it was worth a look. We got snacks too of course...Seriously, do you think the G-dog wouldn't have snacks?! I'll let you know what it's like sometime, if I remember, the TV show I mean.

Tomorrow is another freestyling day although I have got something scheduled...I want to wash my Landcruiser 200 Series which will take me about three hours to do properly - I'm fastidious when it comes to washing my vehicles. Faith has agreed to help and considering it's going to be 38°C (100F) I'm certain she'll wear a bikini top and denim cut-offs...Yay! Although, three hours could blow-out to four if she does. [She's never much help when washing vehicles, but splashing her with the hose is fun.]

Although I got all week off so come Monday I probably won't even know what day it is! - That's what happens when one is freestyling! Yeah, can you tell I'm happy about that?! 😂
