Are most of us wasting our time on Steemit ?
Just like any community, there are the haves and the have not's. Evidently Steemit isn't immune to this methodology. With that being said, are most of us wasting our time here on Steemit ? Could a lot of us benefit from just going elsewhere and forget the Steemit dream of striking it rich? I know over the past 3 weeks I have contemplated this on a daily and some times hourly basis, however sometimes I am too stupid for my own good and I keep on trying, just like a lot of us do.
Nevertheless, I hope that one day a lot of us bottom feeders will slowly make our way to the top and shake the chains of oppression and missed opportunity, because there is plenty of steem to go around and there should be no reason for any of us to starve. I have a dream, that one day this community will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed, that all steemers will be created equal and that no steemer will be left behind. Will I get to live out this dream, or will I repeat the fate of Dr. Luther King, only time will tell.
Hmmm. I actually see steemit as impossible to loose. I came to steemit for the money but the fun and the information kept me here. I was able to make sone cool bucks yesterday out of dash because of some infomation i saw on steemit.its never a loss
That is a great side of Steemit. It is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to investing in crypto currency. That was pretty much how I found steemit in the first place, however I have been waiting for almost 2 months to start trading and getting money into my trading account has been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. The wires keep getting sent back, I have been threatened with the closure of my bank account by my bank and the calling of my mortgage. Its like the world wants me to be poor. I have had $21,000 in the middle of nowhere being sent back and forth doing nothing for 2 months and I am getting so tired of it
Getting quick information is key for beating the crypto market for sure. But the real question is: Is this past 6/ 8 months rise (for any coin) a bubble or not?
Most of us think not, because we have interest in it... Not very objective. Personnaly, I think the pace is too high, and not sustainable... Only time will tell us, I just hope I am wrong ;)
I agree with your thought process as well. At the rate crypto currency is growing, it is simply not a sustainable endeavor. The people who will make money in the long-run are the ones who learn when to get in and when to get out. Or the people who are actually creating the currency. Once the next big idea comes along, all the big fish will dump their reserves of crypto and move on to the next big idea.
You Are Awareness...Pause all that you are for half a moment, and exp. the feeling of just existing( awareness ). Just Sit with that..and enjoy what follows.
Finding happiness from within is sometimes harder than it looks, more so if you have a history of self-hatred and contempt. Nevertheless, I will take your advice and experience what it is like to simply exist.
I can understand that it can seem hard.. but people make it much harder than it is, thinking it takes years of soul searching and meditation and such.. but when you can see that you are not your personality/ego or thoughts. That what you truly are is pure awareness thats when things can really change for you..but its not hard to see this.. you are never not aware this is always with you, just pause for an instant and feel just being, just existing without mind.
I guess we are all searching for something different. For some of us it is self actualization, for others it is a nice house and a fancy car. I can readily admit that I would be happy finding peace from within, but in essence that would entail me becoming the total opposite of what I am today, a materialistic loser.
not so..right here your mind is projecting out all these thoughts and ideas about what it would be like to be self realized..many are conditioned to think that the path we are discussing leads to living in a cave or something all blissed out being super detached form all things... all im saying is that connecting to the part of you that is greater then your ego sence of self..has great benifits and doesnt have to mean giving up on wordly goals and experances..in fact it helps to support your desires effortlessly like with synchronicitys in forms of wow like moments .. influencing the environment to work with you in a better way then against you through this connection and shift of perception
It likely just takes time and a plan like anything else. I would imagine sticking it out will pay off as the glitches are worked out and the community grows. I rarely come on here. Try sharing the articles on other platforms. Some of the articles on here are better than the crap you see in the mainstream media. Hang in there. I up voted you.

Comparing Steemit to other job, it is a high risk time investment. Comparing Steemit to other social networks it its totally worthy.
Life is full of risk. I rather waste my time on here with a potential to one day make something, rather than wasting my time on facebook without a potential to make anything, ever.
Totally agree. I have not facebook account, but I have an account in a dating website and I am sure that the time I spend there is much less worthy that the time I use for Steemit, even for those post that gets just a few cents.
I hear you. Fiding someone to be with online can be tough. I gave that chase up a long time ago, I am 31 and it is a young mans game. Enjoy the fact that you get to live in beautiful country like Spain. And spend whatever free time you have out in the sun.
