The Ultimate Question : What do you want in your life?

This is a very common question to think about when you have reached some point of your life, late 20s. You will feel directionless, lost in the life path, you do not know where to go for the next. You are desperate to find out the clear direction to continue your life.

You are eagerly seek for the drive to live

Some people might think this is life even though they do not feel happy about their career or relationships. You might think: This is life. Everyone is having the same problem, maybe I just need to push it through and totally ignore inner voice. For some reason like commitment and high paid, quite a lot of young people bear and endure the unhappiness in their life, they forget what they really want in their life.

They compromise and accept because it is always easier to give in than to fight for it!

They suffer on every working days. They do not know whereelse can they go and whatelse they can do. They live with the flow without striving. "What is the drive to make you wake up every morning? What are the things you are willing to fight for passionately days and nights without extra paid?"

A life without goals and destination just like a headless chicken. You lost your motivation and drive to do everything, you do not feel the satisfaction and fulfillment on things you do because that is NOT what you want to do.

Here are few steps that you need to take some time to sit down and think. This process might take you months to finalize but it is totally fine, the goals and values will be changed varied with time as you grow older and more mature, your mind will change.

STEPS

1. What are your values ? What is your mission and purpose? What is your dream life? (guide: What do you enjoy the most on doing it?)
2. Define your goals based on above. Are the goals realistic and practical? Have you utilized your full strengths? (After you fix step 1, then refining step 2 until you feel right and make more sense)
3. Pursue your goals with everything you have got.

Everyone of us is different ! We are different in characters, mindset, philosophies and upbringing backgrounds, therefore we have different ways of doing things and different things we value the most.

For an example, some people think table manner like young people should greet everyone who is elder than you on the table, wait until elder people eat first then only can start eating is crucial to them. If you are not doing so, you are giving a bad impression as a rude person. But this might not be your case, you might value time, family or friends more. Therefore, it is totally personal and individual, no compare and no pressure.

Some, might have big dream to be an entrepreneur; some, might just want to have a simple and happy life with the family members around.

To come out with clear goals and mission for your life, you need to understand your strengths and passion thoroughly. A

This journey might be lonely and full of uncertainties, you might see a spacious greenery field or a barren desert. You might face challenges and difficulties which cost you lost everything, but keep trying. There is always HOPE if you never give up easily.
