Triple Peak hike/climb
This is Ben, my younger brother, last September we decided to try and summit Triple Peak on Vancouver Island. It's a little hard to get to, we found an old book that had the route details and how to get to the trail head. Basically you scramble up a waterfall for 5 hrs and then......then
you camp here...
From here you sleep, wake up at 7am and go for it. We only brought minimal gear and not a lot of rope. I got stuck on a cliff face twice on the way up.
Great views on the way up, we ran out of gear and couldn't summit, but hey we were close!
So from here we rappelled down, I got lost for 2 hours on the mountain, got stuck free climbing again, finally got off the mountain and drank beer.

nice experience of yours! It's a pitty that you didn't reach the summit... You sound like used to this. Weren't you afraid at some point?!
