Guide to Mining Digibyte using Nvidia Graphics cards (Gtx 1080 or Gtx 1080 TI)
This guide is for pool mining and will work with other Nvidia Graphics cards. I will list it as pretty much copy and paste for 1080 and 1080 TI’s. Other cards you may have to lower intensity a little bit or adjust a few settings.
First if not already done. You should pick a pool. The pool I will be using in this example is https://miningpoolhub.com
Second is you need to download and configure a miner. The miner that I have found to work best is.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9AmAUEGtldRamRFT2d4bEhmb3c?usp=sharing
Once that is downloaded you will want to edit the Digiminer.bat file. You can do this by right clicking Digiminer scroll to edit.
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ccmineralexis78 -a skein -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:20527 -u staifokuzed.miner1212 -p x -i 26
pause
Now if you are using miningpoolhub you will just have to change the staifokuzed.miner1212 to your username and your worker name. If you are using a different pool or Algo you will have to edit those.
Third you will have to download and install MSI Afterburner ( or your favorite OC software)
Now with Digibyte best results come with a little tweaking. I have found on average that Gtx 1080’s get around 600 MH and use about 145 watts. While the Gtx 1080 TI’s get about 900 MH using 200 watts. Various cards will stray slighty from these figures. But I use those figures as a Baseline.
Best way to achieve these numbers is to lower the (1080 TI) TDP between 70%-75%, Raise the core clock plus +89 to +145, Lower the memory clock to -300 to -500. (1080) is TDP between 73% -80%, Core clock is +100 to +165 , Lower the memory clock -300-500.
While these numbers pretty much all the cards I have tested you may be able to get better or maybe even worse results. Just play around a bit.
After you have everything just the way you like it and all is stable. The next step is optional. But is great so you don’t have to really remember to start the miner.
Right the digiminer-shortcut and click copy.
Make sure that you have the box checked to show hidden items. Then navigate using file explorer to the following
(:C) Users/(yourusername)/appdata/roaming/microsoft/windows/start menu/programs/startup
Once you are there right click any open space and Paste shortcut.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.

so:
-u myusername.myworkername
-p x (worker password needs to be x?)
I can't see my worker in the pool, its not active am I doing something wrong? Ballance also not changing. Am I doing something wrong?
Alltough I can net 700mh/s with my Palit Gamerock 1080 GTX stock settings, so thass quite good.
make sure when you are on miningpool that you click on the the actual pool for digibyte skein. they have a different dashboard for each coin. So if you are not on the one you are mining it will not show up. Also sometimes it takes a bit to actually show up under the workers. But usually not longer that 10 -20 mins
how many DGBs do you mine using 1070?
I am not really sure. I have only owned 1 1070 I never even opened it. I gave it to a friend because he needed a graphics card and they were really hard to get. You could just try and see what the hashrate is. A mining calculator like https://whattomine.com will give you a general idea of what to expect in terms of rewards
