my trip - Sedona, Grand Cannon, Las Vegas - day 4

Day 4 - Bellrock climb, Grand Canyon
I should have planned more days in Sedona. Early morning, I climbed Bell Rock for myself while my family was sleeping.
It takes too much time to go though Pathway or Loop, instead I choose Bell Rock Climb trail directly close to the top.
Better to park the car in Courthouse Vista parking lot, not in BellRock Vista parking lot.

세도나를 떠나는 게 아쉬워서 남자 셋이 자는 새벽에 혼자 Bell Rock 에 올라갔다. pathway 나 loop 는 시간이 오래 걸려서 BellRock Climb trail 을 택했다.
Bellrock vista 주차장이 아닌 북쪽 Courthouse vista 주차장에서 올라가야 한다.

actually, could not step on the very top, too steep and too slippery.
맨 꼭대기는 수직이라 올라갈 수가 없고, 그 밑 한 층은 너무 미끄러워 올라갈 수 없었다.

if you really want to enjoy the sunrise in Sedona, do not look up the sun, look at the other side reflecting the sunshine...
세도나에서는 일출이나 일몰 때, 해를 바라보는 것이 아니라 그 반대편을 바라보는 거란다, 해가 비치는 산과 암벽의 기묘함을 보기 위해...

Left the hotel with take-out breakfast. took 2 hours to Grand Cannon.
호텔 레스토랑에서 아침을 테이크 아웃해서 일찍 출발하였다. 다음 목적지인 그랜드 캐년으로... 약 2시간 넘게 소요.

Google map shows you the fastest way like freeway, but we took Oak Creek route going up to the mountain with great view.
구글 맵에서는 세도나 남쪽으로 내려갔다가 다시 북쪽으로 올라가는 하이웨이 길을 알려주지만 우리 Oak Creek 로컬 길을 택했다, 산 위를 타고 올라가는 경치 좋은 길...
중간에 산 꼭대기 Oak Creek Vista 에 들러 사진도 찍고.

Grand Canyon has great shuttle service, rounding all view points. You can also to hiking on trails.

그랜드 캐년 빌리지 내에서는 무료 셔틀 버스 시스템이 잘 되어 있어서 여러 view point 를 간편하게 돌아볼 수 있었다.물론 trail 도 가능하다.
우리집 남자 셋은 걷는 걸 너무 싫어하는 관계로 중간 중간 가까운 view pont 만 걷거나, 나 혼자 걸어가서 목적지에서 만나기도 했다.

바로 밑이 낭떠러지...

personally, I love Hopi point the most.
개인적으로는 Hopi point가 가장 좋았다.

the combination of sunshine and clouds give you thousands view.

there is Yavapai museum giving a short geology program for children.
went to Mather Point for sunset. It looks real GOLD!
Yavapai museum 에서 아이들을 위한 짧은 geology 강의를 듣고, 빌리지 안에 있는 숙소에 쳌인을 하고 쉬었다가 이른 저녁을 먹고 석양을 보러 가까운 Mather point 로 갔다. 벌써 많이 사람들이 모여 있었다.
그랜드 캐년의 석양도 지는 해보다는 햇살에 빛나는 암벽을 보는 것이었다.
말 그대로 "금빛"이었다. 눈부신 금빛...
