Homework Time Yangon Myanmar streetphotography
These boys are doing their homework at dusk on a major street leading to Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar.
What looks to be a peaceful scene, is actually one of complete chaos on the road next to their study steps. I admire their concentration and dedication.
The little one was madly sorting papers he kept pulling out of his backpack. He started and stopped working several times to get more papers. The older one never once looked up from his work in the five minutes I sat in stalled in heavy traffic watching them.

I’m grateful I lost half my size and only sorry it took me until I was 50 years old to figure it out. It’s been over seven years now since I had to worry about my weight. What a relief this is.

I think they are doing their home work near the street because at home their parent may engage them in other work.
I definitely would not be able to keep concentrated when it is so busy nearby! Props to them for being used to it though!
