Family support is the pillar to strengthen family bonding? by @eveetim

The family is the most valuable, lovely and supportive place to always fall back to whenever we're in need or celebrating. In other words, having and growing up from a loving and supportive family is a great blessing, though we have friends who have and have become like family to us, standing by us in situations and being very supportive whenever we need help.

As a member of a family, I have enjoyed massive love and support from my family. I remember when I was about to get married, my family members were all there for me. They called, rendered help, gave physical, emotional and moral support, not undermining their gifts and prayers for the success of the event.

After my marriage, I became pregnant. When and after I went to bed, my siblings were all there and my mother came immediately. She was called. This showed how loving and caring they are and how I'm blessed to have them around me.

As a member of a family too, I have also been there and was very supportive. Before I got married, my younger sister was already ahead of me. She had children before me, when she was about to dedicate her baby, as practised by us. I asked them not to hire anyone to cook for them and that I was going to take care of that for them.

I went for the baby's dedication. I was the one who cooked all the food that was eaten on that occasion with the help of other younger students. People were wondering how I could support my younger sister when I wasn't even married or talked about having a child. That meant nothing to me because I saw that we are family and that's what the family should do, giving support whenever we can.

I also remember leaving my state to far away another state to give support to another of my family member who got married. It was a week after I got married, I would have chosen to enjoy my honeymoon but I had to be there to give my support. It wasn't just my physical presence, we, (my husband and I), also sent a gift to the family. Of course, that's what family is all about.

The family is a support pillar. That's what defines a family. I hope you're a source of joy and happiness to your family too.
