Raindrops And The Blue Filter

This morning I woke up to find everything wet. Must have rained during the night quite a bit as everything was soaking wet. No problem I thought, I can turn this into a positive thing.

I'm always saying that there's no bad weather just badly dressed people and it's true. We can take photos even if the sun is not shining, just have to change the subject.

Raindrops are fun to photograph, so I took my phone and started taking photos of the Japanese quince. The flowering period is pretty much over, but this wonderful plant is still interesting.

I chose this bush because of the nice, two toned colours of the leaves. I love the dark red ones.

It's interesting that only the last ones, the new ones are dark red, the others are green. Nature is funny sometimes but we already knew that.

I used my favourite blue filter and I think the photos look better with it.
