Disappointed by @steemflagrewards
Yesterday I noticed how blog of my GF was flagged to oblivion.
One guy from the SFR gang classified her post as spam and then shit started happening...
They completely flagged 5 of her posts.
Each one of them was around 0.4 STU in value.
My question is, why?
Why are we going around dictating to people what is quality?
Who are you to say, what is quality and what is not?
How can original photograph be spam, no matter how low in quality it might be?
There is this thing, called intrinsic value, who are you to determine it?
If we will be completely honest, there is mass abuse ongoing on chain and no one is doing sh*t about it.
Yet you go around flagging planktons and minnows... killing their dreams making them not come back on the platform, ever?
What is the purpose about it? I can't see a deeper meaning.
If you really cared about abuse, you would flag those that abuse in the strongest ways.
Ones who rape our reward pool in true sense of that word.
Not the ones who earned their first STEEM... and then you come and delete their profile, because their micro-blogging with their original content is not good enough in your eyes.
Seriously, who are you to judge?
You act so tough over the keyboard like you know everything about STEEM, when in reality your SP count is lower than 1000 and you are doing it to try and earn some?
Give me a fucking break, alright?
I'm an investor.
From an investor point of view, more users creating content on STEEM - equals to better STEEM in the long run.
Otherwise, what are we? Some luxury kind of place only for people who can create the right content?
I thought STEEM was something else, I thought people can come here from mainstream BS like Instagram and try and create similar posts they created there?

But you go around flagging acting like Robin Hood when in reality you didn't even scratch the surface...
If you really cared about abuse you'd go and flag the real abusers.
The people who circle jerk 3 years in a row and act like they have STEEM's best intentions on their mind... etc.
There is lot of shitposting from bigger SP holders but you don't seem to flag them, somehow you miss their post?
Even thou they are earning up to $30 on shitposts?
But when a plankton comes and uploads original photography to earn $0.3 you decide to flag him.
And you think its justified?
Give me a fucking break.
If you really cared about STEEM and its long term potential, you'd learn to appreciate every single user...
Not flag someone new who doesn't even know how to use the platform.

You nailed it. There is tyranny on Steem and you identified it. A self proclaimed group of blockchain defenders go around with SP downvoting people they do not feel "meet their criteria". This is not the only group that does it.

That's just crazy. First, there's nothing wrong with Micro blogging. That's the whole point of Appics, Steepshot and others.
Also, if someone wants to micro blog, or even post a 3 second video, that's their business. If its original content, why would someone flag that? That's crazy.
The worst part is, when you try to speak with them or challenge them to a debate they just continue repeating robotic phrases

I am becoming more and more convinced that Steemit is a Scam.
Maybe we now see a concerted effort of all the top-scammers to drive the Steem price down, so that everyone starts selling and they can collect the coins at bottom prices.
Look at who is doing the most damage to the Steemeeit Blockchain and who belongs to the top witnesses. The top-abuser is in the top 3 of witnesses:

Maybe all of us who want to protest against power abuse on steemit should share a common avatar? Maybe someone has a suggestion for this or we can organise some kind of competition/poll for such a protest avatar? If enough users would use it, this would convey a signal to those in charge they can no longer ignore.

It is always a good idea to directly address those doing the flagging to get their reasoning for doing so if they have not given the reason.
