Event Documentation : Blockchain & Entrepreneurship Seminar Presented by Oracle-D at SBM ITB Indonesia
It's a pleasure for me to be able to meet new people, share knowledge and especially get acquaintances. On Friday 26 October 2018, I went to School of Business and Management ITB Bandung to attend the Blockchain seminar presented by @Oracle-D. Previously as planned, @mariska.lubis as an organizer invited me, @alaikaabdullah, @senja.jingga, and other Steemian Indonesia to welcome guests that coming from the UK.
The seminar was very well done, attended by students, lecturers, startups and steemians. At the first, event was opened by representatives from SBM ITB. He introduced the founder of @Oracle-D, @starkerz (Matt Starkey) and @anarcotech (Dylan Leighton). Then @mariska.lubis as moderator, explained briefly about blockchain technology from the economic and business aspects. The audiences seemed very enthusiastic about blockchain technology.
The next seminar material was then presented by Dylan as CTO @Oracle-D. He explained what blockchain is and the basic understanding of blockchain. Matt as CEO of @Oracle-D helped Dylan explain attractively how blockchain works. Their explanation seems to be easily understood by the seminar participants.
After Dylan finished explaining what blockchain technology is. Followed by Matt discussing more about the business model that might be applied using blockchain. He introduced Steem as one of the blockchain technologies that can be used for various fields. Like the @Oracle-D and @fundition business models that utilize blockchain Steem for fundraising.
Because of the enthusiasm of the participants, after the seminar ended, they continued direct discussions with Matt and Dylan. Blockchain is one of the technological trends, which are included in the industry era 4.0. Sooner or later this technology will be used by more people in the world. Thanks to @Oracle-D for taking time to share the right knowledge and perspective about blockchain technology.
