Hello everyone,

It is yet another beautiful day and I bring to you greetings from my side of the world and I trust you are doing amazing in your part of the world.

As usual I woke up in the morning and most definitely carried out my daily activities which specifically involved cleaning my room, brushing my teeth and most importantly taking my bath.

Tomorrow been it 9 October 2022 will be the 18th birthday of one of my girlfriends brother. As such we had plans which involved my girl friend and I want to surprise him with a small birthday party.

He will be turning eighteen indicating his transition from child hood to adulthood although he is still a teenager. We have several plans on making it a successful birthday celebration.

Leaving the house to the road side

These plans include preparing a birthday cake for him, getting him a birthday gift and taking him to a restaurant where we all sit to enjoy some drinks and food in memory of what is on the ground. I strongly believe our plan is a great one.

Having all these plans, the mother also decided that since he is turning eighteen, then we are to prepare for him guinea fowl which is a sign of transition in my part of the world. So she sent the money and that was the beginning of the day's activities.

Fortunately for us, today was market day so getting guinea fowl will not be a hustle, I there prepared in the morning after carrying out my morning activities to go and stand by the road side so that I will be buying from those who are taking it to the market to to sell.

On my way to the market

I got prepared and left the house as quickly as I can and I went to Stand by the road side. Several people came and pass others with my of what I want to buy but they said they are not selling. others too were having their own things which does not include guinea fowl. One person came and we talked about it but couldn't come into conclusions on the price so he left.

I waited and waited I was not seeing any sign of people bring new guinea fowls for me to even bargain with them on the price. I decided to to to the market and buy it there although that price might be a bit higher that the road side price.

I continue the walk and fortunately on my way specifically where I decided to branch to make the way shorter, I meet one of the community members having packed his bicycle waiting for friend to continue the journey. I rushed into him and he removed them for me. I quickly check and saw that everything was fine.

I asked of the price and he said 75cedis, I requested for deduction and he said he will give it to me at 60cedis. I told him I could afford 50 cedis and upon several talks, he decided to give to me. I removed money from my pocket and paid him.

I then waited for him to give me my change back. After taking my change I change my direction and head towards the house. I walk on the road side observing how things were ongoing in the community and how everything was normal.

On my way almost home, I was annoyed when I saw someone also carrying the same guinea fowl I wanted to by close to my house. I decided to give it a try and I hence approached him. I told me the prices of the guinea fowls were 95cedis each. I was happy in my head I had bought that one 50cedis.

I then informed him I will buy it next time because the price is too high and he didn't even also tried to reduce the price for me to be interested and I guess he was angry because he saw me holding one.

I went home with the one I am having and gave it out to me friend to work on it. I had some other jobs to do at work so I returned to that one and worked till it was evening.

I returned home after I was done with what I was doing and I then came to rest. I want to sleep immediately but is was not coming hence I took my laptop and I was watching movies. I didn't even notice the time I slept off.
