This evergreen tree is on the peripheral of where I am visiting, standing alone, covered in ice... not for the first time, I am sure. I heard the outcry as I was walking away, "If I go through one more winter the snow will surely break my branches; if I face any more powerful wind I will surely be uprooted and moved away."
"Stand strong, dig your roots deep into the soil” And all will be well.
Oh, there is nothing to fear, my dear; oh, my dear. The winter is melting away today; arranging for the unsympathetic cold of the morrow.
It is so hard to say goodbye, no? The year is ending, closing out on a good note. And so it is... from one to the next, happily ever after. Amen.

Great shots of the ice! Yes it has been a good year. Certainly disappointed with Steem, but nothing is perfect as they say. Glad you had a good year and here is hoping 2019 is the best ever!
Thank you! Ice is always nice! It has been a wonderful year in so many ways. You and so many others are disappointed in Steem and rightly so, but, the best we can hope for is a major recovery in 2019.

Thank you! What a beautiful comment and one that made me feel so good. I usually do that with most blogs, look and enjoy the pictures first. I never write too many words anyway.
I hope to adjust my writing and expand the writing and post less pictures. Someday. I haven't really been on for a few days because of Christmas and all the guests in and out. Always a pleasure, but, keeps me from Steemit! :)
