Macro Thursday
Ich bin gespannt. I'm curious.
Do you ever think in terms of macro? It is such a fascinating place to live. The details are almost always amazing, especially when you get up close and personal. What seemed like just a flower, in reality, is tiny little flowers within these flowers. But, you cannot see that until you are almost on top of it.
Today is #macrothursday by @HomeArtPictures.
I will usually do flowers, because I love them, but lately I have been trying my hand at food and things like that. There are a few people here on Steemit that show a macro shot of an item and reveal it a little more each picture as you try to figure out what it is. Nine times out of ten, I never get it until it is shown in its entirety.

I always admire Macro pictures, so much detail they are just stunning. However I never had the equipment to try myself, I just ordered some of those clip on lenses for my iPhone - it might turn out horrible but they were half price and to be fair most of my photos are horrible already! Love that chick pea shot it's super special.

Honestly, I hardly ever do macro pictures (this is my regular 18-55 lens) but, I do like to take them up close and personal. I know a lot of people that have really good luck with the clippies. The only distortion they seem to get is on the edges, which can look artistic and done on purpose. :)
Your pictures aren't terrible. I should forward you some from me about 18months ago. Your son could do better. :) Besides you cannot have everything! You are the Brewmeister!

From the thumbnail in my feed I thought it was a picture of some tacos. lol. I wasn't wearing my glasses though. Pretty cool flower. I love it when a flower has tiny little flowers within it. Can't remember the name but I grew some flowers with little flowers inside of it one year. It was cool to see.

It is a sunflower! Can you believe that?
Wait! What! I thought about it but I say no is not a Sunflower. It is crazy Sunflowers are my favorite flowers in the world.
The really crazy thing about macro shots is that sometimes it seems like we get even more detail than we would from a regular shot!
