"Ithaqa" Fundition Update #7 - Trouble At Home

What do you do when you disagree with your dad, who also happens to be a cult leader? You expressly defy him over something rather petty, and then get your head blown off in about 15 pages!

There's no actual life lesson to be gleaned from this, so don't go thinking I'm writing a morality play about always listening to your parents, haha. I just like that even within the sect of evil worshipers, there is conflict. They lead partially human lives, have partially human families, and even though they agree on the Eldritch Truth of the universe, they disagree on how to live within it.

Of course when their leader is nearly omniscient, is the blame really on Daniel and his father? Or does it rest with the man who needs a fresh body to serve as his "dowel"?
