"Steemit Engagement Challenge | S14W6 | Places That Feel Good: Where I Go To Relax"

The Steemit Engagement Challenge for Bloggers has brought something special in the 6th week of Season 14, which asks for my favorite place for relaxation. I can't resist taking this opportunity to provide you with my favorite place, where I have been going for the last four years, almost every day regularly, provided I am in this city.

I will give you my favorite place where I go almost every day with my self-taken images, which I took all today itself. Meanwhile, I would love to ask my friends @josepha, @suboohi and @radjasalman to join me here in Steemit Engagement Challenge S14W6 - Places That Feel Good : Where I Go To Relax

I have given you a picture above, which in itself pretty much describes its features. You have a golf course here, a racing track, an athletic stadium, a water park, children's walking trails, biking, skating, and scooting facilities, besides the facility to show your expertise in other board sports.

🕊️ What is your go-to place, where you go to find mental relaxation and peace? Also, describe it's features that help you and how do you feel?

I have a long list of places where I go often or when I feel overworked or need to lift myself. But since you have asked for a go-to place, which means I go often if I am in India, I go to Haridwar and Rishikesh, a twin city about 160 km away from home, but if I am in Canberra, I don't have to look beyond Eddison Park just in front of my residence.

  
In my case, I have the advantage that I can drive, bike, or walk as I wish because it's on my way to the mall if I am walking, driving, or biking. I used to go to a paid gym once, but with the quality workout gym facility provided here, I go to this park for the same.

  

  
People come here to spend some quality time with their loved ones or just to have a picnic, as the park has a BBQ and other facilities. This park is also known for its other features, besides being one of the best parks in the city.

  

🕊️ Is there any particular time of the day when you find peace at that place?

Yes, there are particular times we go to this park. If we go there in the morning, the park is good for workouts, exercising, jogging, or a walk. If we go there at noon on the weekend, we have all the facilities for a great picnic, and if we go there during the evenings, the place is good for socializing and activities like biking and skating.

🕊️ If you would invite someone to experience that place with you, who would it be and why?

We often invite our friends and coworkers to this park because it has all the facilities for a good party or a picnic. Most times, we take our food, but in some cases, we buy from the mobile shop, which sells a variety of foods, including fast food, cold drinks, tea, and coffee.

  
We can play various games in this place as it provides all the facilities, including artificial water bodies that house ducks and other birds. The place has proper seating arrangements, and the fountains and rocks provide an extra scenic view for visitors.

As I said Eddison Park is spread over an area of 140 sq kilometers close to Weston Mall in the Garren suburb close to Philips and Woden Town Centre.

  
The park has several facilities but you can see the skate park is always busy. I love its play equipment and fitness stations, so I ask everyone living in the area to use it to save money on the gym.

I can see several people playing disc golf and using shot put stations and that wonderful orienteering course so anyone interested in these games can come and take advantage. At least I take full advantage of all the facilities which I can avail in this lovely park.
