Ei Entertainment and the Detroit Dream Girls is a local small business not expecting thousands of BTC transactions so we are opting out of using a third party application like Bitpay and just providing the BTC address and then a text box to specify the amount sent.
There of course is an issue of the customer having to trust us to provide services without actual proof of payment. Third party applications give customers a greater sense of security when using bitcoin as a payment method, but for a small businesses, the extra cost in transaction fees aren't worth it.
My goal with introducing this new payment method is to hopefully bring in that one extra customer that uses our services, just to use his bitcoin. I want to spread awareness and promote bitcoins growth, because bitcoin is the currency of the future.
