Tee shirt design from a section of my Painting and a coming storm, sort of.

in #art6 years ago

My design using my latest section of my Singularity work.

My piece I shared the other day, which is a section of my current singularity piece, got some great feedback and I had some customers who wanted just that as a design/print. Here is the section I shared.

That post is still active, so if you'd like to see that post it can be found right here

I have done this in the past, when a bit of my larger pieces have a section I've shared and others have liked them in and of them-self. This is also why I choose to work on larger pieces this way, as then I feel as if I have a few self contained works encapsulated into a larger piece.

Some of the things using this image in varying ways.

From art prints, to tees (with text) to enlarged sections on phone cases and even stickers. I'm really excited that we can now offer furniture as well and this guy looks pretty good on a sideboard or a coffee table.

If you are interested in any of these from stickers, tees, and such, so far I have them in my Society6 shop and you find the here.

It has been a funny sort of day. The weather started out cool and grey and rainy. Then the wind came in and I though maybe it's somehow tied to the hurricane in the south, but that won't reach us. And now, as I write this, the heat is coming back and the sun is out again.

This morning, though, the tide was rolling in quite high. Here is a short video of me going to my morning walk on our beach and you can see the tide is close to our beach chairs. I start and stop on a funny pair of cormorants on a rock. They seemed almost an ominous pair out there. I filed them away for future fodder for my works.

I had to share this little snippet as Monty, my little old Chi, gave a little snort to the sea as if to say, "You call this a storm?" To be fair he has seen some dusies and even been in some on our old sailboat a few times. He's an old salty dog, quite literally.

Well, I hope you are having a grand tuesday and not as far behind as I feel. Take a moment to sniff the air or thumb your nose at the weather, like my little dog has done.
