The sketch inspired by fellow steemian @yidneth music
I should have been finishing up some things, but when I read @yidneth Latest post featuring her wonderful music I couldn't help but be inspired.
I sketch everyday,
whether digitally or in my journal or both. Often it might just be the quiet of the house but often some music as well. As I've had to steal mornings of late and not being at home I've not wanted to annoy with my music. Thus, when stumbling upon @yidneth song, I played it straight away in my earbuds; I was transfixed.
I have to admit I put it on repeat a few times and although it was a snowy scene for some reason I dreamt of a mermaid, regaled in Victorian Garb.
I've only started to touch it with colour, but I'll most likely at least continue with a watercolour study.
This is one of my favourite things about Steemit
That we can influence one another. There are so many talented musicians on here as well as other artists. And inspiration might simply come from the comment section or by reading a story or observation by a fellow Steemian. And when it is wonderful music with inciting video, as we had here, it's a no brainer to hit 'loop' and sketch away.
I hope you find a moment to be inspired by one another today on Steemit.

don't worries, I'm a bit off the loop myself, been with the lurgy this week :) but keeping an eye not to miss the finished piece.
I am always in awe of creative people, especially people that draw and paint. I don't do either and it is fascinating to see someone create the image and then make it come to life.
I can hardly wait to see color in yours!!!

Aw thanks @dswigle and @yidneth I'm glad you both like it. See, this is why on certain days when I am sketching I need to realize still share what you are about that day. It will still touch someone, eh? :)

Soon as I saw the title and all the flowy hair and clothes I was like "probably yidneth" and there we go XD That mermaid design is really pretty :)
Ha ha @ryivhnn you got it, it was indeed @yidneth And as usual I had not visited her blog for awhile as I sometimes forget people as I don't have any notifications of fellow steemians I just search them out old school, I know bad me :/ But then I was even more transfixed.
