Here it is without the decorative background.

I really like to play with flat patterning.

Keeping the watercolour look of more realistic shadow on the dogs, but using more flattened lines and outlines gives that decorative feel I love. This piece should also do well with repeats and other mixes of mirror images and such to place on things.

I haven't worked in this style of mine for a bit.

It was good to get back to it and it also fits with my goal of the 'decorative' this year. Art in my style with favourite subject matters approached in a way that I can see it on things.

I think the like between graphic design and High art can be blurred and usually those distinctions exist more for labels by others than artists themselves.

Now, having spent more time then I had planned this morning I am off for the rest of the day to get things done.

I hope you all had a creative moment today.

I love all the stages of this work Donna and I like the vision you keep in mind of the different images being enjoyed by others on different products.

I also love the decorative in art and how the object of a work can merge with the background in two dimensional space. For me the background of a work is always so important to consider. Personally, I can travel between the over-cluttered and plain white very comfortably.

WOW you surpassed yourself with this one I love all your work, but this one is outstanding

Most welcome Have a great day

I like this background a lot, it really completes the artwork:)

Thanks @georgeboya it turned out pretty good, but I did feel a bit rushed.

I like it but i am sure you can rework it until you are satisfied with the result:)

In the first picture, my eyes feel a bit lost in the scene, especially the first with the (beautiful) wallpaper...
This is only my liking, I prefer the former version (the very last picture of your post) I love the kinda "unfinished" look with your pencil strokes that are apparent, and the eye can focus on the cute adorable furry babies ! ^_^

Hey we all are attracted to different things, @barbara-orenya. I thought the final piece was a bit too busy and I might make the chair's wood a darker tone to pop against the wallpaper, although I kind of like it getting lost as well and you have to sort of hunt to find all of the picture. I'll probably have various versions of them for sale, so there won't be just 'one final piece' which is why I love digital art :)

Yes indeed, digital art is so practical for that ! 😊 this is like a bit of magic ^_^

So cute 😆 love the crazy background/wallpaper, think it goes with the chair 😆 and puppies are always cute no matter what! The one with the pink bow, classic look 😆

Thanks @ryivhnn I think the crazy pattern and colour just fits my current hectic schedule and mood :)

I'm glad you took a little time to finish your nice job dear Donna. ;)

When we are capitalists again, I would love to have this work in my living room to receive my friends and guests with a very creative and colorful environment. ;)

Ha I love that @yanes94 "When we are capitalists again" that's a good one. Maybe steem will go back up again one day. We should probably be buying cryptos now, with their going down. :/

Many do it, come in the bear market an opportunity to buy more crypto
Those who have money hehhehe.

I like how bright and bubbly this art feels like based on the colours you chose :).

Thanks @scrawly , these pieces make me happy as I like to go over a sketch and flatten into patterns, it has a cathartic feel to it. It's not the same emotion and feeling in my viscera I get when I do oils, funny that. So many different emotional places to visit depending on the type of art we are doing.
