Upcoming Yale Study Will Investigate Cannabis For Potential To Help Treat Stress
There is a new cannabis trial study that is going to take place at Yale University and researchers involved with the study will be seeking to investigate the potential for cannabis to help treat stress and pain.
This study will add to a growing body of research that has supported the notion that cannabis has a wide range of potentially beneficial health effects, whether it be helping people to cope with pain, PTSD, anxiety, sleep issues, addiction, stress, and more.
In the first part of their study they will be focused on dosing and safety, moving on to potentially look at how cannabis can treat PTSD, depending on how successful the first phase of the study is for them.
This study is being referred to as groundbreaking and is said to be the first of its kind on humans.
"The research we are talking about today will prove that CTPharma, along with Yale, has the ability to work with plant based formulations," - M. Fedele, CTPharma board chairman.
It is the Yale University School of Medicine which will be behind the upcoming study.
They will be conducting the study on human subjects and will be using an FDA-approved cannabis protocol. Eventually, with their research they want to develop a cannabis human drug product.
Participants in the study will be given either a placebo or acute doses of CBD and three different combinations of CBD with low THC.
They will be measuring participants blood pressure, heart rates, and blood levels of THC and CBD. Researchers want to further understand exactly how thc and cbd might help to address pain and other illness.
This study adds to the work that other researchers are doing around the world, in Israel, Canada, Jamaica, and other regions. Already, the results have been promising in demonstrating that cannabis and cbd have a wide range of healing effects and also offer a great potential to help boost economies worldwide.

well while growing up,a traditional doctor close to my neighborhood made me realize that the cannabis plant have alot of health benefits and it is the abuse of the plant that is a problem not the plant itself.....so i won't be surprised if cannabis can cure stress and pain...
