MUJI eraser VS other erasers / 無印良品の消しゴムを買いました。
Finally the summer holiday is coming to an end and our children are going back to school soon.
Yay!
However, we have the important job called "Back to school shopping" to tackle.
It is almost like a nightmare for me because I don't like shopping very much.
Anyways, this year, grandpa offered to pay all the costs of back to school shopping.
Thank you so much grandpa! I am very grateful.
Although, it didn't change the fact that I don't like shopping hahaha.
The photo is one of the very popular store in the mall we visited the other day.
MUJI is a Japanese brand store opened recently at 3 Greater Vancouver locations.
もうすぐ夏休みが終わります。
こちらは9月4日から新学期です。でもその前に大仕事があるのです。
バック トゥー スクール ショッピング！
新学期に向けて新しいバッグパックや洋服、靴、文房具等を揃えなければなりません。全部一度に揃えなくてもいいように、購入の時期をずらしているのですが、それでも結構大変な出費になります。
お買い物があまり好きでない私には悪夢のようなイベントです、笑
それでも今年は、義父が費用を出してくれると言うので、大変助かりました。
が、買い物が好きでないことには変わりなく、苦痛でした、笑 (普段はオンラインで済ませちゃいます^^;)
今回行ったショッピングモールに無印良品のお店があったので立ち寄ってみました。
バンクーバー周辺に3店舗あります。
ここにはユニクロとアンクルテツ (てつおじさんの店) もあります。
アンクルテツは凄い行列でした。
Here are the items we bought at MUJI.
A folding nail file, a correction tape, a pair of portable scissors, 3 ballpiont pens, a glue stick and an eraser.
They are all for my oldest daughter except for the eraser.
@yasu24 recommended me a MUJI brand eraser a while ago.
It is his favorite eraser.
So, I bought one to give it a try.
私は消しゴムが欲しかっただけなのに、なんだかいろいろ買わされました。

Let's compare erasers!
MONO, AIR-IN and MUJI from the left.
MONO and AIR-IN are both made by leading Japanese stationary companies.
I've been using MONO since I was a child.
My youngest daughter uses AIR-IN.
I drew lines with 0.5mm HB lead, 0.7mm HB lead, 0.9mm 2B lead and 1.3mm 2B lead for the test.

MONO vs AIR-IN vs MUJI!
MONO消しゴムは子供の頃から使っているので、一番馴染みの深い消しゴムです。
AIR-INは次女ちゃんが使っています。
0.5mm HB、 0.7mm HB、 0.9mm 2B、1.3mm 2Bの線を消してみましょう。
The result is that they all erase very very well.
How didn't I know!!! LOL
Well, actually thay all have different textures.
MONO has a feeling of sticking to the paper when you erase. You need to work the hardest among these three but you will not notice unless you are comparing with other erasers.
AIR-IN glides on the paper very smoothly. You don't need to work so hard to erase. I think it's a very good eraser for younger kids.
MUJI I bought is actually a hard type eraser. The store didn't have normal one. So, it's not a fair comparison but it glides on the paper nicely like AIR-IN.
結果発表～～～！！！
なんと、全部良く消せます！
あたりまえ、笑。
けれど、それぞれ消し味が違いますね。
MONOはわずかに紙に吸い付くような感じがします。
この中では一番ゴシゴシ消すタイプの消しゴムだと思います。けれど比べなければ分からない程度です。AIR-INは消し味がとても軽く、手が小さく、力のない子供でも上手に消せる消しゴムだなと思いました。
そして、MUJIの消しゴム...実はかためのものです (これしか売ってなかった)。
なので、比べるには少々フェアでないのですが、AIR-INのように消し味が軽く、とても良い消しゴムだと思いました。
I must say MUJI brand eraser is very good. Most of the products cost about twice as much as you pay in Japan but the eraser was $1 Canadian as it cost 79 yen in Japan.
I'll be the repeat customer for sure.
こちらの無印良品のお店では、多くの商品が日本の価格の倍くらいで売られていましたが、消しゴムは税別 1 カナダドル(日本では税込み79円)でした。
リピート決定ですな^^
I would like to have MUJI here... we had daiso for a little while but it is gone :(
I'll be sad if our daiso is done.
MUJI is cool but I find it expencive.

はい。私も AIR-INを使ったことがありますが、確かに軽い消し味だと思いますし、無印良品のは固いと思います。私、消しゴムを使うときに力が入ってしまうことが多々あるので、無印良品派になったところがあるかもしれません。そんなことを振り返るきっかけになる記事でした。娘さんのレビューも聞いてみたいかも〜
無印良品で、消しゴムだけが安い理由気になります！！！
消しゴムが1ドル以上したら買う人が減るからかなと思いましたが、何故でしょうね。
娘は今までMONO消しゴムを使っていたのですが、なんだか消しづらそうだし紙はくしゃくしゃになるしだったので、軽そうな名前のAIR-INを使わせてみたんです。使っているのを見てすぐに違いが分かりました。とても使いやすそうです。
今回の対決は、AIR-INの勝利ですな。少なくとも娘さんにとっては。
｢Back to school shopping｣ がnightmareなのはよく分かります。アンクルテツのお店、バンクーバーにもあるんですね。メルボルンにもありますよ。オープンした頃はものすごい行列でした Σ(￣□￣)
無地良品のお店もオープンしたての頃は入店制限があったと聞きました。
日本のお店が人気なのは嬉しいですが、普通に買い物したいですよね^^;
買い物好きじゃないの、一緒です（笑）
私はMONOが一番！派でしたが、無印に興味が湧いてきました。

無印良品って衣類や化粧品、キッチン用具とかも売ってるんですね。
思っていたよりお店が広くて、お客さんでいっぱいだったので驚きました。
