I get a lot of happiness in sharing my recipe with all of you.
Today, on 4th September, when the kids came back from school in the afternoon, the weather was very lovely, it was also raining lightly. My kids need an excuse to eat something spicy 😄.

Using the excuse of the weather, my son asked me, Mummy, what have you prepared for lunch? I said, today I have prepared dal and rice. Then my son said, Mummy, does anyone eat dal and rice in such weather? I will not eat dal and rice at all. Today, in such a lovely weather, I feel like eating potato and onion pakodas. I told him that the food is ready now, eat this only, tomorrow I will prepare potato and onion pakodas. He smiled and said, no mummy, please, I have to eat right now, I will not eat dal and rice in such a lovely weather.

I said, okay, I will prepare it, then I prepared potato and onion pakodas with some ingredients kept in the house.

I am sharing my simple recipe of potato and onion pakodas with all of you.

Ingredients:

8-10 spoons of gram flour,

two potatoes, two onions,

salt, red chilli powder according to taste,

a pinch of asafoetida, half a spoon of cumin seeds,

half a spoon of celery, a quarter spoon of garam masala, oil.

Method:

First of all, I cut the potatoes and onions and washed them well and filtered them in a sieve so that all the water drains out.

Then I put oil on the gas to heat in a pan.

Now I took 8-10 spoons of gram flour in a bowl and mixed it with water to make a thick batter. After mixing the gram flour, I added all the spices to it. Then I mixed it and prepared a batter.

By the time I prepared the batter, the oil in the pan also got heated.

Now I added potatoes and onions to the prepared batter and mixed it, then put it in hot oil for frying. After putting it in the oil, when it got fried a little, I turned it with a ladle and fried it from all sides. After a while, the pakodas were cooked in the pan and ready, then I took them out in a plate. Now I served these hot pakodas with tomato ketchup.

Everyone enjoyed these pakodas while enjoying the weather.

This way, everyone in the house benefited from my son's insistence😊and everyone enjoyed the hot pakodas.
