Devil Gundam: Scratch Building Knee [Leg Modification - Part 59]
Hi guys!
Today I will do a test fit the knee with the thigh and waist. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!

Reshaping Done
I've reshape the knee as close as I can get. Using pencil to make guidelines then file the excess until I get that symmetrical look.
While doing that I also file the excess pla plates that is sticking out from the cementing process.
Next I will try to make the c-joint for this knee so it will be detachable.

Test Fit
Before proceeding on the next mod I will test fit the knee with the thigh and waist to check if I need to make any adjustments.
I did file down the runer so that it will fit the width of the thigh manually. And so far the knee looks great with the thigh and waist.
All that's left is to detail both knees and create c-joints then I can start connecting the knee with the bottom leg.
One thing that I can't test is the overall look with the whole body because the bottom part isn't connected. I guess this will have to wait until the leg articulation is complete.

Final Thought
Tomorrow I will proceed with making the c-joint. I already seen it a couple of times on social media so I will give it a go.
I think the tricky part of making a c-joint is getting the amount of friction right. If the c-joint is too tight it will be hard to detach but it will have a lot of friction.
However, if the c-joint is too loose there will be less friction but easier to detach. And so this is my updates for today on this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel Project.
Keep on building! Keep on steeming! Have a nice day!
