Someone You like,or Someone Whoho likes You?

Steemians, As a human,I would say that choosing between someone I like and someone who likes me is really a tough one but in being honest,I would choose someone who likes me, read on while I give my reasons.

To start, being liked by someone I admire and respect is a wonderful feeling but it's nothing compared to the joy of liking someone who genuinely likes me back.

Let me tell you why, when someone I like shows me kindness and affection,it will be feel a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day and it's a boost to my self esteem,a reminder that I am worthy of love and attention. But let's face it, it's not always a guarantee that the feelings are mutual.

On the other hand, when someone who genuinely likes shows me their affection, it's like a cozy blanket on a chilly evening 🤦. It comes with a sense of security,a feeling that I am appreciated and valued for Who I am and the best part is that I get to reciprocate those feelings thereby creating a beautiful connection that will be built on mutual respect and admiration.

Let it be known that there's something special about knowing that someone is genuinely interested in me/you, interested in my happiness and my well-being. It is a sense of belonging,of being seen and heard and when I get to return these feelings, it's like a never ending cycle of love and positivity 💯

Though it's not that easy to distinguish between the two, sometimes we might mistake admiration for reciprocated feelings but trust me,the difference is clear. When someone likes you,you feel it in your bones in the way the look at you,the way they listen to you and also the way the make you feel like you are home.

So in choosing between the two,I would pick someone who likes me over and over again. There's no substitute for the joy and comfort of a mutual connection,the knowledge that someone is interested in me and my happiness. It's a feeling like no other and it's what makes Life's Journey more beautiful and worthwhile!!
