Let’s talk about people who cannot stop using their smartphones - INTRO
Introduction
Nowadays, it is not common to see someone without a smartphone in his hand, we can see it everywhere we look, people constantly having their gaze fixed on a smartphone screen, these devices have become a basic tool to live in our current society, evolving through time adding more and more functionalities beyond the traditional call, they have become something so important for our lives that many people feel they could not live without them, they allow us to be connected with the world, and to keep in touch with our friends and family.
However, the continued use of these devices, either by always checking our social media notifications (or the steem feed) or being all day making calls, playing games or watching videos, can eventually trigger a serious addiction, people can develop a dependency towards them, that gradually becomes stronger as the technology improves and offer new capabilities every passing year, and one of the results of this is that instead of connecting more with other people, what happens is the complete opposite, and some individuals who cannot control the use of their smartphone can start to move away from their social circles and lose real touch with them because becoming addicted to our smartphones involves narrowing down our range of action in social relationships, in the end, the real problem is marked by the unavoidable suffering that any type of addiction causes.
Have you ever seen someone with a smartphone addiction?

Hi @DedicatedGuy
I am particularly addicted to using smart phones. I am surprised to read all the health issues associated with over usage. Unfortunately, the prescribed solution, according this post, cannot be easily adhered to. I really cannot imagine myself staying 30 minutes without having to take a look at my phone.
Does using laptop have after effect?

That sounds extreme @sciencetech.
But that's truth bro. Please what about laptops?

Hello @dedicatedguy
I am actually frightened by the health effect of addition to smartphone. I am addicted to it and can't even use my laptop these days. God have mercy. Any data to substantiate the claim sir?
@eurogee of @euronation and @steemstem communities
Hey there @eurogee.
Specifically what claim do you mean mate?
I mean number of those suffering this already
The biggest problem with today's cell phones is that they require the use of our hands. If we were meant to have cell phones, we would've evolved a special appendage, or at least a connection port ! 😉
One way or another we end up adapting to our technology, and about the use of hands, who knows, perhaps one day there could be a more efficient way to operate any device.
Before I say anything about this write up, your topic is psychological it is always talking to me all the time
Yes i am part of those that love their phones and I am addicted sometimes my mum would say my phone is my God now but I won't care
But what else do we do on earth that is offline, without phone you are dead or is there a cure to our problem?
