Make Us Happy Pigs by Concealing "Estimated Account Value"!!
Have you checked your Steemit Wallet lately, especially today!?
Even the most insensitive users have noticed the drastic falling of Steem prices... Complaints, criticisms, and solutions abound. That's alright and understandable...
BUT... whatever the dev team thinks of this recent trend, there is ONE THING that you can do easily and immediately, without breaking any rules or promises, to increase the spiritual well being of fellow Steemians.
That is ---- Conceal the "Estimated Account Value" in our wallet balance!!
We hate to see this decreasing number EVERYDAY to disturb our peaceful state of mind when Steeming !!
Seriously, turning it off doesn't affect anything here, not even transparency. Those number crunchers can always calculate their and others' exact account values easily - they don't need you to provide this convenience. Nor do we who don't really or don't want to see the 'truth' every time when we need to take care of daily transactions like investing in RHW and etc...
Why Not!? It is good for EVERYBODY!
Let me demonstrate by showing graphs from SteemWhales.com (graph credit to the site). Normally we see this chart for someone's wealth.
Why not remove the red dots and line (estimated value) and just focus on the INCREASING SPs!! Feel much better!? Feel confident and much better!?
That's really what long term investors and Steemit believers should do right?! Focus on SPs, not current value!! Oh, this is not a suggestion to SteemWhales.com - these graphs just happen to nicely demonstrate how people feel everyday. Suggestion only to Steemit.com to conceal that excruciating number...
At least... Give us an OPTION to TURN IT OFF!!
An option would be reasonable. Necessary to the social well being of the community? probably not. I have a nano stack on this platform and as the price drops lower and lower I just think on how I might be able to pick up some Steem on the cheap before this platform goes viral. "Steemit is a really good idea what has not been settled yet is does the consumer actually value it?" only time will tell.

I don't even concern my self with the value of my account at this time. I am having fun and trying to get as much steem power as I can.
I like to know all the information available. Even the bad news sometimes
Personally I would not take it off because it indicates again that I can buy more steem power for an even better price. Each time I am hoping for a lower price. Today I had a very good day because for the first time I could buy with 0.01 BTC more than 10 Steem Dollars.

@steempowerwhale how do you buy SP? I'm new here and I've never tried doing it. I just read from a blog some whales I like commented on that SP plays a big role to keep Steemit growing if I understood it right so I wonder how you buy SP? How much SD do you need to have to buy?
Click on the buy steem button, which you can find in the upper right pull down. You need some BTC though.
