EOS tokens must be Registered before the June 1st date or they could be lost!
EOS is moving away from the Ethereum ERC20 Network and ALL tokens will be frozen.
Once the EOS mainnet has been launched registered tokens we will moved to EOS.IO mainnet.
Unregistered tokens could become worthless!
Moving the current tokens you have to the Exodus Wallet is an easy way to prepare for the token change from the current ERC20 token to the EOS mainnet.
The registration process is simple via the Exodus Wallet. This registration process will require some gas and the following steps will help complete the process.
1.) Get the Exodus Wallet here is the link https://www.exodus.io/
2.) Send a small amount of Ethereum to your new wallet (maybe $25 worth). This is more than you will need, however I recommend keeping Ethereum in your Exodus for any future gas that may be needed.
3.) Backup your Exodus Wallet. Once the Ethereum has been received in your wallet you will be able to backup your wallet. Be sure to write day your 12-word phase (do NOT store it on your computer)
4.) Send your EOS to your Exodus Wallet.
5.) Once the EOS is in your Exodus Wallet click on Register. A browser will open https://support.exodus.io/article/690-how-do-i-register-my-eos-address-inside-exodus

6.) You will now notice the EOS wallet within Exodus no longer shows NOT registered. This means your tokens have been registered.

I would hate to see EOS investors lose the tokens they have purchased with hard earned funds.
Wow that sounds great, and so easy, maybe this will be the safest ways to get EOS tokens. Do you know if they support airdrops?
To my knowledge they do not support air drops, however a few users are claiming they do. To date I personally have not received air drops in Exodus.
I have received airdrops on my Ledger and Trezor wallets.

Oh thank you for that! Yeah if you have a wallet and keys, you could always claim dropped tokens via other wallets, as you described...
I used this method a while back and can confirm all is good. This option will also make sure you receive all the airdrops currently going on too which you can confirm by going to etherscan.io :-)

Question: I registered my Exodus address for EOS tokens several weeks ago. Now I want to deposit MORE EOS tokens into this same Exodus wallet prior to the snap shot. Was the address only registered or were the address + the amount of EOS tokens, which I had in the address at the time, registered?
I want to make SURE that the new tokens I will be transferring TODAY into the Exodus wallet (the address of which had been registered weeks ago) will be successfully transferred to the EOS mainnet.
The address itself was registered. You will be able to send additional tokens until the deadline. Once you send the additional tokens be sure the “not registered” is not visible again (glitches can happen). Worst case scenario registration with small ethereum gas fee may be needed.

I just completed this process myself and was the smoothest transaction thus far. I was very pleased with it as well. Much better than leaving your tokens on an exchange to potentially be lost in a glitch or hacked.
