Gossip protocol which is used in Hashgraph

Hashgraph uses a protocol that distributes data throughout the system to reach consensus about transactions on the network, this Gossip protocol works with a node in a system that can send data to other nodes randomly and with the aim of reaching consensus.

And the way the gossip protocol works is very simple, after one device shares its information with other devices in a community, other devices will share the same information with other members, then other members quickly receive the information and they continue to share it until it reaches every member in the community.

And everyone can easily find out all the data about a transaction by a node sent to another node by using Gossip packets and to verify the transaction to reach its conclusion and purpose.

The Gossip protocol is also used in Hashgraph technology and not only to send data from one node to another, but the gossip protocol will send all the data in detail, and highlight all nodes that have been associated with the data.

Unlike the consensus algorithm (PoW) or (PoS), this Gossip protocol is also used as a Hashgraph consensus technology which has nodes that send everything they get about a transaction, the goal is to reduce performance problems on a network and make transactions faster, more secure. and guaranteed.

Gossip protocol virtual voting, it is easy to validate transactions because all parts of the system can know other nodes involved in the transaction so that it will increase faster validation and consensus.

All data about a transaction that is sent using Gossip packets from node to node and includes details of the nodes that were previously involved with the interaction time.
