It's been a while since the last issue of Pixabay Curation Magazine, but here we are again. Today I'll present two artists who've added some beautiful architectural images to Pixabay. Giovanni_cg has made some great looking renders of modern architecture, while Tama66 released some stunning photographs of grand buildings in the public domain.

Artists featured in this magazine will receive a donation equal to the Steem Dollar portion of the post rewards after 7 days. You can find out more about this initiative by reading the introduction post.

The two images above are renders which were made using 3D modeling software, the artist has not mentioned which application was used. These images were among my favorites, when I looked for architectural images on Pixabay. I personally think they look very professional and are perfect examples of modern architecture.

Giovanni_cg joined Pixabay back in 2015 and has added 14 images since he's joined. The second image that you see above was awarded with an Editor's Choice Award on Pixabay. I'm a big fan of his style and I hope he may add some more images to Pixabay soon. Perhaps a small donation can convince him.

I've featured two photographs from Tama66, which are quite different, but could both be classified under architecture. Tama66 has many different beautiful images of buildings on his profile, each one is unique and has a very artistic feel to it. I particularly love the fact that all his photographs look very professional, you can't see a single person in them and the building really pop out.

Since Tama66 joined Pixabay in 2015, he has added over 1000 photographs to Pixabay. He's very active, adding new images every week. Which is why I think this artist deserves some recognition.

Consider upvoting or resteeming this post if you want to support the featured artists. The SBD portion of the post rewards will be split and donated to Giovanni_cg & Tama66 after 7 days.

Sort:

I mostly grab my photos from wikimedia commons, since I'm blogging about esoteric science stuff- it's hard to find super specific stuff on pixabay. Still, though, it tends to be pretty handy for my non-science posts.

I've seen several of them being used a lot.. so great to put them in the spotlight.. really like those myself so great choice..

They do give us great pictures don't they? I for one use them all the time. Nice one keeping this up @daan.

Yeah really happy with this issue :)

That Image by Tama66 is really cool. I wish I have a camera though, or she drew it?

Those are photographs yeah :)

Hey @daan! I really like that second architecture shot by "Tama66". It's like the MODERN interpretation of the "leaning tower" motif :-> Also, in line with my suggestion to give some quick info in each update related to the features of Pixabay, for THIS post I went ahead and took a look at the "About" pages of these two photographers, which are :

https://pixabay.com/en/users/Giovanni_cg-1760325/?tab=about
https://pixabay.com/en/users/Tama66-1032521/?tab=about

I think that adding something like this sort of "quick task" to each of the posts enables the readers to learn a quick and practical Pixabay feature wth each posts, and thereby gain a better understanding of how the platform works over the span of the whole series...

Yeah I've been meaning to do an extra post about all the hidden features of Pixabay, but didn't have the time to do so yet. It will definitely happen though :)

This is a cool initiative, glad it was shared in @c-squared tonight so I saw it :) Great to give a little love back to these awesome photographers who are giving us all free use images. Cheers - Carl

Lovely images! The designs are very professional.

WOW some amazing images in this issue

I loved the Gothic art on the first image by Tama66. It is quite beautiful to look at. I like that he used monochrome too. It gives the picture its own character. Good one @daan
