Prompt of the day “Room Service” - Also Being A Further Rewarding Contribution!
I have never ordered room service! I’ve never even really stayed at any fancy hotels that would provide room service, except for one!
The Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver right on the waterfront was by far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at! It was our last stop before heading home on our very first vacation trip around British Columbia. We were driving my Pontiac Fiero loaded with camping gear wrapped up in a tarp on the rear trunk.
It was quite the trip, enjoyable but I learned that I prefer the driving over the stopping. Realizing during this trip that I could probably do the cross Canada trip with no problems I have since been thinking about doing so.
One day soon to come I would love to make that a trip across Canada funded by my invested time here and also being a further rewarding contribution! You can bet that I will be ordering room service and blogging about it 🙌

I think I stayed at my first fancy hotel alone last night.. it had a spa, a gym, a nice restaurant, and of course — room service. I bought it as a surprise for my friend who was joining me on my travels — so she could relax through her jet lag. Unfortunately... that friend missed her flight and I was there alone :( i didn’t even have the motivations to enjoy all the services! I hope you will when you do!
Sorry to hear your friend did not get to join you but you so should have enjoyed everything available! I totally understand the no motivation thing, can be tough to overcome, very thoughtful for you to have room service ready for her!
I will most definitely take full advantage of everything available the next time I have the chance!

Yea I wish I still had that car, as all of them it kept braking down and always the same parts over and over.... freaking front end steering rack!
I have a Suzuki SX4 now and even you wouldn’t be completely uncomfortable in the car. Fairly spacious my father is willing to drive it when I use his truck, he’s a big boy 😅 rides like a brick though.
Your right though we so need to do a road trip very soon 🤞
