Jerry Already Started His Vacation - My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2020
Finally captured a good moment of the 7pm shoutout that happens for essential service workers today while I was at a customers house. Always seem to be behind the wheel of my car but this time I was near the harbour in Esquimalt so you can faintly hear the ships blasting away!
Other then working SkipTheDishes it has been a relaxing day having been told not to go into work at the freezer job.
Jerry has already started his vacation, he stayed at home and each time I returned was in a new position sprawled out on the couch 😅
It’s been a busy week for Jerry also, when working SkipTheDishes he is on duty guarding the car. Today he didn’t even bat an eyelash when I asked if he was coming 😅 my lazy old man...

Slower night tonight stopping behind the school to let Jerry out before heading home...
Behind the school... where I always found myself trying to get away from the fuss of childhood now returning to escape from life for a moment before returning to the grind!
Slowly things seem to be finding balance, new distancing rules making business complicated but not impossible. I see shields/guards up everywhere, how quickly these things have been implemented is the surprising part. It is almost as if the supplies for protective measures have been around for quite some time just not used. Shocking as it all may be it really is needed for the sake of collective safety, no one wants to be at risk simply trying to earn a living!
