Yulong River, Yangshuo. Staying by the Yulong river in Yangshuo is so relaxing. The landscape is really amazing and in the evening when there are no bamboo rafts on the river you will have it for your own.

Lamington National Park, Australia. Just recently we´ve spent a weekend in the Lamington Nationalpark in the Gold Coast hinterland. This shot isn´t from the Nationalpark but from our accommodation just a stone throw away. We had the perfect view on the sunset from or little cabin.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #64 - winner announcement!

@axeman African Wednesday entry:

Four. Pretty well known combination of one large and three small pyramids - a part of famous pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Shot at noontime, but quite cloudy winter day two years ago with a tele-photo lens. From the left you can see the city of Giza. Actually shot through the window of moving bus, so final result not so bad indeed. Enjoy the scenery :)

@ladybug146 North American Friday entry:

Taken on our hike up to Kinney lake on Mount Robson in British-Columbia. We hiked almost 12km in the forest up to and around the lake that day. We had just finished a section of steep switchbacks in the trail, with the elevatin we were gaining we knew if only we could get a clearing in the trees, we would get an amazing view. We were well rewarded.

A view from the airplane window of Panama City. During the last years it has been a construction rush in this city, there are many skyscrapers in front of the Pacific Ocean. At the moment that I took this photo the tide was low, so there is a lot of muddy waters on the shore, where the refections of the buildings can be see.

Since the theme of the contest is South America. Panama does not belong to South America nor North America, it is in Central America. North America starts in the Yucatan peninsula, and Central America, is located between the Yucatan peninsula and the Isthmus of Panama. So the three parts form the American continent. In English it is usually called “The Americas”, however is Spanish it is in singular.

On many occasions I have been swimming and I leave the sea at this twilight time, but almost always I am unable to take a photo. When I get this opportunity, the sky is not always that beautiful, but this time it was. View of the sea,clouds, mountains in the distance and the Campeche Island. Florianópolis - Santa Catarina - Brazil.

This photograph is of the beach of Puerto Cruz on the Island of Margarita - Venezuela. It is not usually a beach visited by the inhabitants of the area or by tourists, since it is far from the places where they offer food and entertainment services. However, it is an ideal beach for those who do not like to be surrounded by so many people.

Puente de l'Inca, Mendoza, Argentina.
It means "The Inca Bridge". It is a natural arch that forms a bridge over the Las Cuevas River. That bridge was made by the combination of the glaciers and the hot springs near by over a long period of time that started in the ice age.

Dawn with river grown and some fishing boats, Bolivar Venezuela

This year, the floods of the rivers of my country reached a great flood limit, since for many years this phenomenon of nature did not occur, motivated by the amount of rain that occurred at the beginning of the Orinoco River, we took advantage of of the sunrises and sunsets, next to the river and the different occasions to take pictures.

Águila Peak , now called "El Collado del Condor", due to the rock formations of the region. "El Collado del Condor", will always continue to have its appeal, thanks to its location of 4,600 m.sn.m. , in the Merida Andean of Venezuela, allows us to appreciate beautiful panoramic views if time allows us.
