7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #95 – winner announcement!
Hello fellow Steemians!
It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I encourage you to check the entries as they really were all stunning.
You can see all entries and participants in this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #95 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!
Please give a huge shout out to the best ten competitors for taking part in the challenge and sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on Steemit:
@sjarvie5 @jpphotography @drmincu @karma-panorama @axeman
It would be great if you can visit their blogs and appreciate their awesome photography skills with some upvotes.
However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @sjarvie5 with the following entry:
In June I spent three weeks Being a photographer for GlobalResolve and before I went I dreamed about getting a sunset picture in the savanna with an acacia tree. This beautiful sunset happened on my second night at camp!
What a great contribution from @sjarvie5 to the photo challenge! I have visited @sjarvie5 blog and upvoted his post called Share My World: Drive from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara. @sjarvie5 amazing entry from Africa is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #95 - winner announcement!
@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
Sigiriya, Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is one of the few places in Sri Lanka that are overcrowded with tourists, despite the hefty entrance fee. I went early in the morning and had about two hours to climb the rock and enjoy the stunning view from the top of the rock with relatively few people around. On the way down, I passed by hundreds of tourists.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #95 – winner announcement!
@robbertb Australian Monday entry:
At the borders of an ancient forest on New Zealand's South Island, a lake, formed by a glacier 14.000 years ago, known as Lake Matheson provides an amazing view to Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman. The reflections in the lake are caused by the dark color of the water.
@drmincu Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
Manowar beach, in Dorset, is washed by the cold Atlantic waters. Yet when you look at it you may think it is one of the warm beaches of the Mediterranean. Go there at sunset for amazing views.
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of this post and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 200 SBD in total. You can give @sjarvie5 your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
My next challenge is coming shortly: European Thursday. Get your pictures ready! :)
