Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @manoldonchev:

Prague - view from above the monastery orchard. On my second morning at Questenberk hotel in Prague I was able to get out early enough and reach the nearby Strahovský klášter (Strahov monastery) alleys in time to capture the new dawn with beautiful smokes and shadows in view. I had no tripod to use but that that somehow helped me - I was able to take more angles and different framings of the scenes towards downtown.

I rewarded @manoldonchev winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Near the mill Velkopřevorský mlýn on a bridge connecting the peninsula of Kampa to the rest of the district of Mala Strana lovers come to attach a padlock.
The lock represents the attachment of lovers and the strength of their bond.
The padlocks by the hundreds give a joyous and messy appearance that we find a few meters further in the wall "John Lennon".

Even thought there is other side of the padlocks being place on the bridges it sure is a tradition that spread all around the world. Your image is just stunning and will be a great cover for today's edition. Have a great day and thank you for your support. Tomas

Front view of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Kostel Nanebevzeti Panny Marie in the Czech language) - a monumental church built in the Italian Baroque architectural style in the first half of the 18th century. The church is one of the most dominant landmarks of the beautiful Southern Moravian town of Straznice.

Located at the foothills of the Jeseniky Mountains in the north-eastern part of the Czech Republic, the town of Krnov is home to just about 24,000 people but it boasts a beautiful historic center with several impressive pieces of architecture such as this street lined with charming old houses.

Sunset at Charles Bridge in Prague. In the photo there are the silhouettes of two statues of saints on the bridge. If I am not mistaken these statues corresponds to St. Joseph and Francis Xavier, on the south side of the bridge. At the background there are the Baroque towers of a church on the hill.

We are fortunate to have such beautiful historic places
This little piece of history is almost like a piece of imagination come to life. Winding streets with well kept colourful ancient buildings house everything imaginable - restaurants, museums, trinket and upscale retail stores. There are beautiful churches, a grand castle on top of the hill, a brewery, and I could go on and on. There is something to look at around every turn and the whole village can be walked in a little over an hour. An hour, however, is not enough as one is compelled to visit the many attractions. I must say that Cesky Krumlov was a magnet for my money I found interesting and unique things to bring home for myself. Probably my advice would be to go in the off season as it was already quite busy. Stunningly beautiful and very unique. We loved Cesky Krumlov.

River Berounka, Central Bohemia
P1090049.JPG
The river is about 140 km long. It is formed by the confluence of the Mže and Radbuza rivers. It flows into the Vltava River in Prague-Lahovice.
It is a very quiet and slow river with beautiful surroundings. If you want to learn to ride on any ship, there is plenty of boat rent of all kinds.

Here is the heart of Prague and mine! many people and from where many routes to visit the city depart. Surrounded by cafes, street musicians and a very good atmosphere. The old town square has to be one of the best places to visit. During the day, the markets are wonderful. Night time eateries are fascinating.

Climb the Czech Republic’s highest spire at the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew!
So just what is the view like from the top of the Czech Republic’s highest church spire? See for yourself by climbing the 301 steps that lead to the top of the 103m-high tower belonging to the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, which dominates the main square in Plzeň. If the weather plays ball, you can see the historical centre below you as well as mountain peaks of the Šumava region some 70km away.

Cesky Krumlov
A beautiful, Bohemian village just a few hours from Prague must appear in your list of things to do when visiting the Czech Republic. This village boast a gorgeous church, castle with various tours, and Tower to climb for views of the city. The town has many quaint, delicious restaurants as well as nice shopping. It's wonderful to just stroll down the various streets and enjoy the village.
