Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @watshon:

Officially Kostel Nejsvetejsiho Salvatora, or Church of Holy Saviour, in case you are looking for it in guide books. The church deserves more notoriety than its location, across the narrow street, and facing the entrance to the Charles Bridge. Thousands pass it every day more interested in the bridge than the history and culture that the church brings to Prague. Stop and admire it at least. Now mostly used for organ concerts, the church has stood here for almost 500 years. Also in the shadows of St. Francis of Assisi across the street. It is a simple looking structure with a large arched entrance and two smaller arched ways and a railing balcony above adorned with statutes of saints. Although I was not looking for it, I was happy to stop and admire it although no concerts were planned while we were there.

Excellent View From Terasa U Prince
A hidden gem of old town. The rooftop bar is a great place to go for some drinks with a view. At night or during the day lovely views. Spectacular views from the restaurant. Definitely worth to visit because they have the best photo spot with the nicest view of the Old Town. If you are looking for a terrace with a beautiful view of Prague old town and the castle - this is the place! Especially if you want to propose or simply impress your girlfriend!

That sure is a great place to enjoy the Old Town Square. Have a good one!

Statue of Praded - the legendary mythical patron and guard of the Jeseniky Mountains, the second highest mountain range of the Czech Republic. Praded is also the name of the highest mountain of Jeseniky. This statue can be found in the little Silesian village of Leskovec nad Moravici.

"Charles Bridge, A must photo shoot spot"
A typical European Bridge which is highlighted as the must see tourist destination. Its a good place for Photo shoots based on sunset and sunrise timings. This bridge connects the old town and the castle. Its crowded by tourists through all day.

Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
Beautiful historic city center in the river bends with very bumpy cobbled streets, old lanes and buildings. What is great: Everywhere you will find small places where you can rest comfortably, often in the countryside and / or overlooking the water.

From the corner of the Most Legii here in all its majesty the national theater of Prague. The most famous opera house became a national monument in the Czech Republic.

Church of St.Kliment, Klimentská, Old Town, Prag,
P1090306.JPG
he church was founded in 1226. St. Clement (Clemens) is one of the oldest saints worshiped on the Czech territory. Kiment's remains were brought to the forefathers by Konstantin and Metoděj. Every newly founded church has been given a piece of saintly remains ... The oldest churches are dedicated to St. Clement.
The church was rebuilt in baroque style after 1689.

Peace Square is the central square of the Vinohrady district. The square, like the district itself, is not the most popular place among tourists, although there is everything to be enchanted! Beautiful houses in the style of secession, a cozy public garden in the center of the square, a large neo-Gothic church of Saint Ludmila, a beautiful building of the Vinohrady Theater, monuments, fountains is a wonderful and very beautiful place!

One of the most beautiful Gothic Church we saw in Europe for sure is St Vitus Cathedral. The gorgeous Church is located near the Prague Castle and it’s so rich in colors and details that we kind of get lost in our imagination trying to understand how before they could put together such amazing art work.

The building outside it’s already a piece of art, and inside the Golden colors of the columns, ceilings and the many perfect paintings shows an innovative and unique design in architecture. You will need more than one hour for sure inside to see our the many sculptures, paintings and rooms around in details.

At the beginning of the Karluv Most on the side of the Old Town, there is the small square with the statue of Charles IV on which two churches overlook. The one dedicated to S. Salvatore has a fairly common baroque interior of style but is interesting because it hosts concerts every evening and I took advantage of it for good music.

The old city of Prague is one of the most incredible places I have known, both for its architecture, its colors and the bohemian that can be breathed in its streets. The various buildings are painted in different colors, so the view is very beautiful. Old street artists can be found in the city painting pictures for sale, among other attractions.
