Bitcoin Adoption in Australia Increased after Regulatory Amendments
An increase in growth has seen in bitcoin and cryptocurrency adoption in Australia this year and many investors and users are up to changing regulatory landscape about cryptocurrency in the country.
A Bitcoin exchange in the country claimed that they get an average of 150 new users everyday and they are now handling up to $4 million AUD per day.
July this year, the government ended its double taxation for Bitcoin and recognized it as a legitimate means of payment.
Also, on the following month, the government enacted regulations that governs the operation of crypto exchanges, strengthening the AML and Counter-terrorism Financing Act.
Australia then just recently hosted its first ICO which is the Power Ledger, a company that uses the blockchain to facilitate the trading of solar power which has raised a total of $34 million AUD.
Wirex to Integrate DASH Allowing 40 Million Merchants Accept the Cryptocurrency
Dash coin is soon to be integrated to Wirex, a crypto-banking platform making users to use Dash as payment to 40 million merchants online and in-store that accepts VISA worldwide.
Also, Wirex plastic and virtual card holders will be able to fund their accounts with Dash, connect their Dash wallet & use the payment card as a usual VISA debit card.
Everytime Wirex customers makes a purchase, the payment amount will be directly converted from fiat to Dash and withdraw the cryptocurrency from their wallet.
Also, customers will also be able to withdraw fiat from any ATM using their Dash in more than 200 countries.
Dash Core CEO, Ryan Taylor believes that there is a great deal of demand for Dash in the market this year and it is becoming the payment network of choice for a lot of products and services.
Byzantium, Ethereum's Hard Fork was a Success
The software upgrade of Ethereum called Byzantium is currently running successfully.
This is the 5th hard fork for the cryptocurrency and is now operating without any delays so far in contrast to the recent talks about possible delays.
The hard fork occurred at block 4,370,000 and prices are relatively stable.
The major changes includes increased mining difficulty and lowered mining rewards.

Hard forks are necessary in development, sad to hear the miners rewards are lowered. When miners find it not profitable they will move on, then new difficulties face the system.
