Waiting for the full implementation of my dialysis benefits in August and I will be more blown away because of it

I hope to receive more benefits from Philhealth and it will be announced in August which is next month and I can't wait about it, especially when another benefit to come in the future for us dialysis patients here in my country.

Yesterday I overheard my nephrologist while signing some necessary papers in our dialysis clinic while I am connected for my Friday session, she was telling us that we are still waiting for the full implementation in August of the Philhealth benefit package and that Philhealth would produce another circular which I guess pertains to adding more funds from we are currently receiving which has the amount of 4,000 PH Pesos for each and every dialysis treatment sessions of patients, then that enigmatic phrase "waiting for the full implementation in August" as my nephrologist said had excited me very much because I am assuming that more benefits will come in August next month for us.

It just means that the dialysis patients will receive another tranche of benefits where the former benefit of 2,600 PH Pesos will get doubled to 5,200 PH Pesos. Right now we are allocated with a budget of 4,000 PH Pesos per dialysis treatment session. It caused us to not worry about co-payment anymore plus we are given two EPO injections per week aside from getting laboratory examinations for our blood's CBC and platelet count from my dialysis center as well as Hepatitis profile laboratory test for the majority of patients and then free dialyzer where in my dialysis clinic I am still not sure if I will have to copay for the type of dialyzer that I use and I still yet to clarify that from my nurses but maybe it is also free from copay too. However I am sure that if I will use another dialyzer within a month, I will have to pay it full.

So now I am just patient for something good to happen in August for us dialysis patients here in my country and I am optimistic that we will be totally free from the obligation to pay for every dialysis treatment session where I am assuming that more benefits will be given to us aside from what we are already receiving. Now I am also thinking that more and more benefits will still occur for every Philhealth member because Philhealth has a lot of funds from member contributions alone with more than 500 billion pesos PH in funds that if it happens, Philhealth will either reduce the premium payment of every Philhealth member or give more additional benefits to its members. That's why we are now getting these amazing heaven-sent medical benefit coverages from Philhealth.

In addition to the big funds of Philhealth, the PAGCOR which is a government entity that makes money out from its Casinos and gambling and gaming operations along with PCSO which is another government entity which manages the government lottery business which aims to fund the government social services for people who are in need for their medical and hospital obligations are also allocations some of their funds to Philhealth to make this endeavor for dialysis patients alone to happen. That is why it has been made easier for Philhealth to give-out more benefits which is aiming for the entire dialysis population to not worry anymore about their expenses and it will really create another sector of my country's society to be more productive because it will make them more productive as their medical needs will be given for free and give them the opportunity to be more fruitful rather than just staying at home and enduring their situation all the time and not doing anything aside from the financial freedom that their families will enjoy like what it already did to me.

My great and many thanks to God by moving people in authority like my country's politicians along with the support of other government entities and groups of people who has the concern for our sector of dialysis patients as well as the collaboration of medical authorities that made this God-sent endeavor to happen for the benefit of dialysis patients which now had made our lives easier and it will benefit my country's entire society in many ways more than one from now on.

Esto hizo que ya no nos preocupáramos por el copago, además de recibir dos inyecciones de EPO a la semana, aparte de los exámenes de laboratorio para el hemograma y el recuento de plaquetas de mi centro de diálisis, así como la prueba de laboratorio del perfil de la hepatitis para la mayoría de los pacientes y el dializador gratuito. En mi clínica de diálisis todavía no estoy seguro de si tendré que pagar por el tipo de dializador que utilizo y todavía tengo que aclararlo con mis enfermeras, pero puede que también esté libre de copago. Sin embargo, estoy seguro de que si utilizo otro dializador en el plazo de un mes, tendré que pagarlo en su totalidad.

Así que ahora soy paciente para que algo bueno suceda en agosto para nosotros los pacientes de diálisis aquí en mi país y soy optimista de que estaremos totalmente libres de la obligación de pagar por cada sesión de tratamiento de diálisis donde estoy asumiendo que más beneficios se nos dará aparte de lo que ya estamos recibiendo. Ahora también estoy pensando que más y más beneficios seguirán ocurriendo para cada miembro de Philhealth porque Philhealth tiene una gran cantidad de fondos sólo de las contribuciones de los miembros con más de 500 mil millones de pesos PH en fondos que si sucede, Philhealth reducirá el pago de la prima de cada miembro de Philhealth o dará más beneficios adicionales a sus miembros. Es por eso que ahora estamos recibiendo estos increíbles coberturas de beneficios médicos enviados del cielo de Philhealth.

Además de los grandes fondos de Philhealth, PAGCOR, que es una entidad gubernamental que obtiene dinero de sus casinos y operaciones de juego, junto con PCSO, que es otra entidad gubernamental que gestiona el negocio de la lotería gubernamental, cuyo objetivo es financiar los servicios sociales del gobierno para las personas que necesitan asistencia médica y hospitalaria, también asignan parte de sus fondos a Philhealth para que esta iniciativa para los pacientes de diálisis pueda llevarse a cabo.
