I Just had A Cold Bath And It Made Me Shiver

Shiver me timber! I am just glad that I am anemic otherwise I would have died taking a good long cold bath today because I needed to as I needed to use the toilet. Often I would coincide bathing after using the toilet so that I would feel clean after leaving the toilet.

It is my routine ever since I wasn't able to really walk and move around like normal people does. But I cannot remember just when I did start bathing after using the toilet but now it is just what I do and would not be satisfied if I didn't do those two things in separate activities.

If only I had some extra funds I would have used some water heater that I could use as well as my parents so that in cold days we would not really get a problem in bathing with cold water.

So my parents just heats up water from the stove and use the hot water just to make a bucketful of cold water into a more pleasant to use warm water for bathing.

My limbs just gets numbs especially my feet and fingers but to day I just shivered because I could not take a bath very quickly because of my movement issues with my body being stiff and pain all over so I would be lucky if I can do it in under 20 minutes.

Bathing is one of my favorite thing to do when I was still able and free to move with my body particularly in a hot day and when I am feeling toxic because of my former mediocre dialysis treatment.

Now I am just lucky that I have parents who assist me in going to and fro the bathroom when I needed to but I do not do it everyday so my parents are not that burdened. I also eat less than a mouse so feeding me really isn't a problem as well that is why I do not need to use the toilet too that often.

I still thank God that despite my serious medical predicament I am still able to bath myself, walk a little, and breathe so I am really grateful for what I have left on me and thankful for the things that I once had but taken away already. Of course I thank my steem friends all over the world, you know who you all are may God bless you all.
